I saw Wicked when it opened and it was fabulous. We sat in the circle for £25 (was in preview then so would be £35 once it opened).
The effects are amazing, all the flying monkeys.
I think you and the girls will enjoy it. Even my Dad and B-i-L liked it!!!
The booking charges for tickets are truly shocking so I always try and buy my tickets in person - much much cheaper. Maybe if you have a pal in London who could that for you?? (and if not, you can always PM me, I'm often in Victoria area).
I've saved a fortune on tickets for tons of shows - especially when you try and book online and all you can find is the top price £60+ tickets which I would never pay! For the cheap stuff you often have to go to the box office direct.I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

I didn't have to go to go to work yesterday with it being Good Friday sio I was sitting in bed taking the time to try & get my head round matched betting when DD said "What do contractions feel like as I think I'm having them?" Matched betting is tricky to grasp anyway & became impossible then.
We did what the hospital suggested, paracetamol & a hot bath & the tens machine & put off hospital until she wanted an epidural, so went in about 10. They examined her at 10.45 and said she was fully dilated and Oliver was born at 11.30 weighing 8lb 10.
I'm very proud of both of them.0 -
Jings, 8lb 10!

Happy New Granny Day!
TPAxMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
I love my parents! and more importantly I survived a day without wanting to kill either of them which is an achievement in itself.
They turned up on time (normally their we'll be with you at 11 means we'll leave the house just after 11 and arrive 2 hours later) armed with 2 x 1kg slabs of chocolate - apparently there are fewer calories in a bar than an egg - whilst that may be true for the 100g and 200g bars I doubt the same applies to the mahoosive bars that OH and I were presented with. Persuaded them years back that the DDs did not need to binge on enormous eggs so with that in mind they were presented with healthy sugar free, additive free giant bags of sweets (2 each), the biggest egg that the shops could supply (for DD2) and a random assortment of 24 packets of dairy free chocolate for DD1. Clearly I get my selective memory from my father.
Granny was on a diet (again) but conveninently forgot all about this when she had extra helpings of bacon and eggs and dinner. Glad I catered for an extra 4 instead of the 2 that were present at the table.
Had a great day. Whooshed to Lidl for essentials (like bacon) first thing blowing £48.41 and purchasing more food than we have cupboard space (again). Came home, ate lunch, went for a very long walk in the park, Dad snored in the armchair in front of the fire for the afternoon, Granny played on OHs DS until the battery went flat, fed them dinner and then returned them from whence they came remaining sane at the end of it. Never did get the house tidy but for once it didn't seem to matter too much.
Thank you for all the suggestions on cut price Wicked! tickets and the offers of shopping for them on my behalf, they're much appreciated. Will take you up on your offers much closer to the time.
OH has returned to work for this weeks stint so the DDs and I will be making the most of this by doing absolutely nowt. The sort of nowtness that involves PJs, DVDs, Wii games, chocolate and possibly a spot of baking. Even the washing machine needs a holiday once in a while.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

And that's really kind of Makeup to offer to traipse to the theatre in London to get those tickets so you dont have to pay booking fees!
