Thanks for the suggestions peeps. I have to admit I haven't actually tried v. hard. I hate shopping, hate the taking a ton of things into the changing room only to discover nothing at all fits. Take last weekend as an example. Tried on a pair of thermal walking trousers in one shop only to discover that the 10 was too big and they didn't stock anything smaller with a long leg, then went into Rohan and lost the will to live when I couldn't fasten a 12 and the 14 had thighs like those found on the uniform of a German WW2 field officer. I hate clothes shopping more than I hate shopping. I usually a run into the store, grab the first thing I see in black that looks like it'll probably fit and then run out again. Experience over and done with in about 5 minnutes. The whole concept of finding something that fits and is flattering is v. alien. Equally spending £45 on a single item is obscene. I am a penny piching miser!

Have a great excuse for not shopping today though. OH has taken my car to work to give it a long run wehich means ttempting to park his which I can't do on a quiet day so stand no hope whatsoever of doing on a manic day full of x-mas shoppers. May well wait until he gets home and then abandon him with the oiks and venture out on my own for a spot of torture.

Vaguely considered taking the DDs to the cheap cinema morning but can't face !!!!! Galore and Kitty Go Lightly so will be dismantling the sofa to access the loft storage in the hopes of finding the tree and decorations in that one rather than the loft that is accessed from directly above the top of the staircase with the potential for a 30 foot fall should I screw up. Hate going up there.

Need to shop at some stage for cat food and cat litter and various other essentials. Really can't be arised. Need to go to a bank too to pay in DD1s birthday cheques however since I've been meaning to do this since October its not exactly high on my list of things to do. More presing is to bank the v. generous cheque from Gramps which arrived yesterday with instructions to treat ourselves to something nice for christmas.

oh how i empathise with you about clothes shopping. in fact it has got to the point where i pretty much shop in a) landends.com (in the us where there is more choice) or b) charity shops or c) anywhere else that isn't a nz chain shop. You would love it hear virtually the whole shop is only black beige or white. IT IS SO BORING! In fact it has got to the point where if I find something in a nice colour that is also well made then I buy it virtually regardless of the price.....

Well asm feeling a bit of a plonker Rodney. Currently sitting here sporting washed out leggings (circa my first ever job aged 15 - more proof another wardrobe clear out is required) teamed with invisible undies (random purchase about 3 years ago), more scarliy a porper underwired push-up and shove out bra - v. odd having boobs poking out rather than flattened as is achieved with sports bras which is my unsual choice..... bummed out with a top though, only thing I could find thats long enough to completely cover my bum is also wide enough to house several umpa lumpas and the odd pregnant woman..... admitedly I did purchase it in the latter stages of pregnancy the first time around when nothing else fitted. Tis most definately a wardrobe malfunction but the alternative is to walk into the shop clutching a bag of clothes which is going to take considerably longer than nescessary. Planning to hide it under my thigh length mobile duvet coat. Now just awaiting the arrival of OH so I can get it over and done with.

    Am contemplating this and this.

Push up bra is more of a pop up and out bra. Everytime I bend over the girls are escaping leaving my nibbles firmly wedged in mid air. Kids are finding it hilarious. Can't decide if the problem is because I am bending over and girly women don't do this or just because sods law is in action.

My new bras are definitely pop up and over especially as I need to wait until the bring out the next cup size just finished reading your diary and went to clear the lounge of toys in order to install christmas tree and must have been too energetic as one of mine escaped too :o must be that sort of day :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I am having pop-out-of-bra envy.

Both tops are lovely, which did you go for?

I used to hate clothes shopping too, then I found a couple of makes that fitted and it's easy. I just don't bother looking anywhere else or it makes me mad :(

I have one sister with boobs that need keeping well under control to stop them escaping, but my other sister and I have 2 fried eggs each. I know we are never happy with what we have got but somewhere a little larger would be muchly appreciated :o
