The second medical is just to assess what you can and can't do for the work related stuff. It's nothing like as nasty as the first one and won't affect the money.
I was furious after the second one though as the long journey was difficult, made me feel dreadful and it was just a simpler repeat of the first one. As my husband was unwell I had to travel alone which was really difficult.Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20 -
Will this be relevant to the job that is still open for him whilst been on long term sick or for other jobs. He really does miss been with the lads but to be honest I just cant see him getting any better to go back and seeing him getting worse is not nice to see but hopefully when next see consultant he may get some proper treatment.2020 wins - Espire passes for Gatwick airport lounge0

It is just to relate to any job. They quite literally assess work related activities and then list them. I have a huge print out listing that I have trouble using stairs, find cooking difficult, find using a computer difficult etc etc....
This list is then supposed to be used for the monthly work related interviews. I see The Sha w Tru st locally but when I offered the list the guy wasn't interested at all and after assuming I had failed the medical (I didn't) started telling me I'd be able to do light reception work and how people who were far more disabled than me managed to find voluntary work.......... I was not impressed as I have a hidden disability and would often have huge problems with this type of work!Decluttering, 20 mins / day Jan 2024 2/20
