Till-spit vouchers for extra Tesco Clubcard points

hi fairly new to this thread - didn't realise the spit vouchers were linked to the clubcard.
In my family we have several clubcards (so we get healthy living and food club vouchers etc), but put all th points onto one card.
Is it best to scan a different card for say smaller purchases, or do you only get till spit vouchers if you have a decent spend?
thanks0 -
I've 2 cards, like you I put the points onto my "main" card but on till spit Monday I'll use my other card on a small spend to get my till spit - usually around £1-£20

Many thanks - pretty much what i expected.
So Monday is the best day - is it every Monday or alternate Mondays?
think I heard someone say you are better off early in the week
thanks0 -
Excuse me if that has already been explained somewhere in the 103 pages.
I usually use the self scan tills in my local Tesco and I was wondering if you get till spits from these tills as I haven't had a till spit in a long time apart from the petrol ones, or if it is better to use a till with an assistant?
Thankyou in advance, FiFiIf you find any post helpful, please click the thanks button! :T
I survived the M8 snowjam 6/12/10 - 17 hrs to get home :snow_grin

I think it's more to do with not having used your card for a while. I have one card I hardly ever use, but every time I do (prob about once a month) I get a till spit on it - got one tonight, Friday, so I don't think day of the week has anything to do with it, IMHO.0 -

Never had one from a self scan, so you may be right.0 -
Does anyone else have a problem with the cashier throwing the splits away?? It seems to happen very regularly at my local tescos and when i complained i was told 'we don't understand what you mean by till splits- we aren't aware of any such thing!!'
I'm so baffled x0 -
Silly question but once you've got till splits how do you get them on your card ?0

My local Tesco has now installed a second printer next to the chip & pin device. Bits for you (like the receipt and till spits) come from that printer whilst bits for them (like till balance etc) come from their printer.0 -

you hand it over to the cashier once she takes your payment, same as with other vouchers/coupons and the points will be added - or if you use self scan once you've finished scanning your items and are ready to pay, scan the till spit and then put it in the coupon slot when prompted before entering the payment0
