Maybe email them if you have only cleanly-earned points on your card. But to show them the problem I think you would have to scan & attach copy of the till-spits and provide your cc number to (hopefully) get any points added as a goodwill gesture.

If you have a very very high points balance and/or any dodgy points earned (e.g. codes used which were not issued to you, wrong products bought for baby club points or clothing not bought when using clothing till-spits) then maybe it's best not to alert them to your account. :o

If you email, say that you want to buy the items but were told you can't get the points, can they help by adding the points manually which the store wasn't able to do from the info on the bonus points slips.

Whatever you do, DON'T call them tillspits, even instore, that's a forum term not a Tesco one!

HO emailed me to say speak to CS, but I had already done that and they wouldnt help.

So checked on ebay they had the same till spits, so I noted down the bar code, spend value etc and went to CS last night.

I got my points :j :j but only because I did the leg work.

I have done what the post says above about changing preferences but nothing has happened.

I wonder whether anyone else has noticed.

I received my new card, around the beginning of May. Started using. No till splits at all.

Tried changing preferences, again none at all. Tried to use my old clubcard (has old clubcard number) would not work at the tills.

Has anyone else noticed when going to these new clubcards, the splits have stopped.

Before anyone asks, I have not taken splits that were not mine, only ever used what came out of the till when it was my shopping. Also only ever manage to scrape £20.00 in vouchers every month (with the aid of till split)

Just seems strange, and advice would be appreciated.

    Hello,

I've had a couple of till spits since using my new clubcard, so I'm not sure it could be that!

Just to add to the above posts, I have recently ordered holiday vouchers form Tesco for all my points and this week have had FOUR till spits for more than 100 points each, so no idea how that is working for everyone.
I am also using new clubcard. There was a bit of a dry-spell for a couple of months but this week was like Christmas come early- they must want me to spend more!
  • Got a tilll spit for a free cup of coffee. grabed my drink and went to the till only to be told that the cafe is not run by tescos :eek: also had mistakenly picked up cappucinno -30p more:eek::eek::eek:. The assistant said i could take my till spit to CS and get points added and also found a discarded one too on the table, so worked out well in the end ;);););)

I tried to see if it worked without buying any and no joy ... It certainly does not work unless you buy a book ... I bought two books but they totaled over the minimum so unsure it it would kick in on a lesser spend ...
