    hi

if it's that specific on huggies types then it will only work on the ones listed. baby club voucher for 100 points on huggies little swimmers does work wyb the 78p trial though *and there's a 50p voucher in the packet - double bubble!

if anyone does not need the little swimmers nappies you could always send them to me!!

Can anybody confirm 400 point till spit on Kids clothing min spend £20 will work on any £20+ shop in Tescos

Used mine the other day in Tesco on a big food shop (£50+) without a single item of clothing. Used a dopey looking bloke (sorry, mate!) and it scanned and points added with no problems.

First time I've had any success without purchasing any clothes. Most of the assistants at my local Tesco refuse to scan them if you haven't bought the correct item.

but the tesco that issued it doesn't stock it - how mad is that. And neither does the other tesco in my town. Does anyone know if it works on anything else? TIA

Does anyone else have a problem with the cashier throwing the splits away?? It seems to happen very regularly at my local tescos and when i complained i was told 'we don't understand what you mean by till splits- we aren't aware of any such thing!!'

    I'm so baffled x

There have been rumours that unscrupulous staff keep the tillspits to sell on ebay

Yes, the till spits are nt linked to any specific clubcard so anyone can claim the points. Wouldn't suprise me if they were keeping them to sell on.

I have bought some from ebay and claimed the points and still been in profit.

I'd rarther keep my job than earn a few ££'s extra though.

I have just realised something that may explain why some old cards suddenly stop producing till spits (I could be barking up the wrong tree but thought I would post it here).

I think it's connected to converting a large amount in Deals.

I noticed that our main 2 cards stopped producing till spits in May. I think this was connected to the fact that I had just got my Holiday Deals worth about £2000 from those 2 cards' vouchers. In our household we have 3 cards in the 3 adults' names, and the third card (no Deals converted) continued to produce spits.

Interestingly, the same thing happened last year, just after I ordered my holiday Deals. The relevant card ALSO stopped producing till-spits. It stayed that way until I thought to update my prefences in Autumn 2007!

Anyhoo, I was on the ball this time and reconfirmed my contact preferences online over the weekend (the boxes looked OK as they were not ticked but I clicked to update my details anyway).

Today I got a till spit on my card again. :)

P.S. To reconfirm your contact preferences, log in to the Tesco website and click on 'your account' which should take you to a white screen with blue bullet points. Scroll to near the bottom of the screen and click on 'your contact preferences'. Make sure none of the boxes are ticked (or just the third one can be if you prefer, you'll still get till-spits).

Even if they look OK, click on 'confirm' anyway - it will update the screen (which may have been frozen on your account). This should then allow till spits for that card. To update other clubcards at the same address, you will have to firstly change the clubcard number details from the link on the same blue-on-white screen.

Hi wonder if you can explain I hear so many people talking about till splits but I think in the whole time I have used my card seriously to gather points (18 months ish) I have only ever had 3 till splits I shop tesco online every fortnight and then go in store twice a week. The store I go to is a small one would that make a difference? I spend anything between 10 and 25 each time I visit instore I dont use self scan because there isnt one and I have not converted any of my points yet to deals feeling left out

I think you can get till-spits instore, whichever size shop you use.

Try reconfirming your contact preferences online (as explained in my P.S. above). Even if you find the boxes on the screen are already unticked & look OK, hit the update button anyway.

Hopefully that should get your card active for till spits (not splits).
