what's your feared interview question? I have 2 next week and am shaking like a leaf already :)
I get stuck at "hello, how are you?" I don't know how to answer that.

All those fluffy questions too.... "How would you deal with a difficult person?" - it's such a stupid question. What sort of person? Colleague? Boss? Customer? Are they right/wrong? Does the outcome actually matter? So many variables. "Stitch them up and put a virus on their PC when they're at lunch" doesn't seem to be the correct answer either. Or, for customers, "prank call them 3x a day, using facebook to get the word out" ... again, not a winning answer.

Good luck with the interview missk. Did you manage to find a suitable woollen dress?
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I hate the '' which three people alive or dead would you like to invite to supper''. what a stupid question that demands a lie: who is my great, great uncle to them?? dh hates the ''what's your biggest weakness'' question.

I find it most uncomfortable when they ask if I am sociable...I can be but not when there is work to be done. I would rather get my head down and get the work done before talking about Eastenders which can, at times, make me seem rather unsociable. I also tend not to attend many outside of work gatherings, I just seem not to have anything in common with the others and find nightclubs a chore rather than enjoyable (give me a decent pub though with some good live rock music and I am your girl!)

The "Where do you see yourself in three years time" is also an awkward one...I can get very ambitious and locked on promotion and it can make me seem...errr.... weird.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

'What are your strengths and weaknesses'?

    http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_reply_to_'What_are_your_strengths_and_weaknesses'_in_an_interview

I think it's of prime importance to be a team player. So be prepared to convey that (and to be one of course - which I'm sure you already are ;)).

I completely blew any street cred (I thought) I had when I visited a police station with a younger colleague to interview some officers about some technology the police had just introduced when there was a sudden strong smell of some sort of cleaning fluid - at which point junior colleague and officers smile and officer says they have just brought in a couple of cannabis plants - and I used to be a snowboarder...
I was walking down the road last night and smelt an overpowering smell of cannabis, even though I was the only person within 200 yards, nobody else was about, there was a bit of a gentle wind blowing and there were no houses on my side of the road.

"Must be one hell of a cannabis factory just round the corner" I thought.
    I think....

The figure on the packet is produced via a scientific test, where basically they set fire to the food, and work out how much heat it produces. The test doesn't measure how much of this potential energy is actually digested.

Oh, I thought they were more sophisticated than that :)

    I like the dress.

What sort of job are you applying for, and how confident are you that you have the expertise to do it?

To those who feel that the right answer to 'why do you want this job' is 'to pay the mortgage', you need to add some emphasis to the question - 'why do you want this job'. Frankly, there's nothing wrong with mundane answers to mundane questions "I am confident I can do it, it's a step up from where I am so it'll stretch me, the work is interesting (even if it isn't), and I've heard great things about the company."
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
