Mmm... sorry missk, can't help with wool. I can't wear wool next to the skin because it brings me out in a rash. You'd really hate my wardrobe! To stay warm in winter it's all acrylic this, polyamide that. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? The one from Kaliko that is out of stock in a 10, and the two that are second and third from the bottom are probably the smartest. I didn't even know there was a difference between a wool dress and a knitted one! I used to have some plain knitted dresses years ago, three identical, with cowl necks and wide black shiny belts; had it in red, black, fawn. And my favourite was a short black knitted dress with some flower picture on the front.0

Looks like it's a dress made for long people, with long arms.... those arms look like they're for elephants trunks.
Aw, that's my favourite. You've just made me want to moisturise my elbows, in case they look like elephant trunks.
Sorry my tastes suck pastures.

As a mere male, I find it difficult to comment on a dress without a body in it.
Type of job is important too
It must be a nightmare having to make all these choices and then find something that fits - no wonder th efemale spends half as much again as the male on its clothing budget.0 -

John's post made me giggle.
Last week I went to see Mark Kermode
He was doing a tour to promote his book - It's Only a movie. It was a very interesting evening full of anecdotes.
Afterwards, he did a signing session. He stayed for over 2 hours, & engaged every single person who waited to meet him in a conversation.
I have to say that he was an ultimate gentleman, polite, courteous, witty, & a complete pleasure to meet. I could've talked with him for hours, but felt guilty at how long he'd already spent with people & assumed he'd need to go home!
I have also just finished reading this book:
I have to say it is a fascinating autobiography, with a lot of insightful and humanist tones.
Now I have to select what to read next...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Woman going somewhere: What colour? Dress, separates, trousers? Shoes flat, mid, high - what flooring will I be walking on, how far? Can't walk on sand in high heels, can't walk 2 miles or stand on grass in them. Do those shoes work with that dress? e.g. you can't have flat shoes in a sparkly dress or you'd look like a butch lesbian. And that's just the start. Long dress, mid length, short? How do those shoes look with that? What colour tights? Shawl, cardigan, jacket, shrug? What about a handbag? Small/large handbag, plain or sparkly? Clutch bag or one with a strap?0 -
