Is it just me who gets a kind of schoolboy satisfaction from noting that 'no comment' is a comment?
Looking at your username in an oblique way, and thinking about school, I taught Phil Lynott's kids. Ah, those were the days!

Better day yesterday....I think we have all been positively affected by the news my brother is getting married again on Christmas Eve!
So happy for him, his partner is a lovely woman which all the boys have taken an immediate like to (even youngest - he likes her so much he even goes to her for a cuddle, very unusual!)
They are only having a very small wedding (my brother is as much of a miser as me when it come to money), a small registry office wedding followed by a get together at their flat but it is what they want. Eldest has been asked to be best man....he squeeled like a girl when asked and soon to be sister in law asked youngest to pick out a design for her dress...he picked up all the pattern books, looked through and then picked one out that she absolutely loved (in fact, we all loved it) and one which took into account her curves and height - he has certainly got the eye that boy and it hasn't come from me, I am absolutely hopeless at that sort of thing.
So we are all now in a state of excitement...a wedding! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Oooh a cheap wedding, with people you like! Brilliant!
Nothing worse than having to go to a wedding, miles away, and get all togged up, for a person you don't like that much anyway. .. . and smile.0 -

Or, as happened to me a few years ago, find out that you are reading a different lesson from the one you prepared earlier, so spend half the day wandering around reciting the N E Bible, only to find that the young 'moderns' want the trad version! :mad:0 -
So tell me why I got up early this morning:mad:. Bloomin' Japanese weather. Lee was good, but still prefer Jake. Did feel sorry for her though, Jake gets to carry his shiny iPad around (which I keep wishing him to drop), poor Lee got some papers and a clipboard.
Enjoyed the drop in clips from Karun Chandhok as always, He'll make an amazing commentator one day. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

That's wonderful, makes me really happy for you all. To have ''new'' family who fit in well is a true blessing. And that they are involving the boys is so precious.0 -

I didn't look till after 7 but it has spoiled today's show.
Changes things but it's the same for any of them, that can keep it on the track0 -
By bike:
Large Sains, Morisons, Waitrose, Asda, probably Tesco
Tesco Metro
Plus several small Sains, Tesco
Aldi
Within 20 minutes by car - couldn't even start to count...Within 20 minutes by bike
1 Morrison
1 Tesco
1 Lidl
1 Solar
We also have 2 small Co-op's and 1 larger one.
Within 20 minutes by car
Erm....can I get back to you? The larger town near us is an unknown quantity when it comes to shops but I do know there is a big Tesco and Asda (although the Tesco may need an extra couple of minutes to get there and the Asda and extra 5-10 minutes)I think....0 -
