Anyway I think I found what upset Michaels and posted so an opinion he might not like, but at least not totally xenophobic (though don't think the posts I skimmed were)Incidentally someone JOKINGLY called me racist here yesterday and I didn't know what to say back. so I said nothing. what would others have said?

@ PN. A couple of good chrome extensions are google dictionary (double click on a word and you get an explanation like in the picture above), awesome screenshots and google quick scroll, which is handy on here.

Evening nice peeps, need your help.

A couple of cats have been abandoned where I live. It would appear that the owners have gone away and not left any food or water. They look quite emaciated and as though they have been fending for themselves for a while. Someone said that the RSPCA will not respond for a couple of weeks. Any ideas?

I've been called racist on this board before too. Think it's an easy jibe to poke at someone.

It's hilarious in my case as I'm an ethnic minority female. :rotfl:

Cats protection league or any smaller cat charity local to you will lend you a humane trap if you can't get near them. Sardines are reputed to work best. I only caught my neighbours cats and a hedgehog in mine.

I'm finding that taking a good book or laptop and some smelly canned food or wet pouches every day and moving the bowls a little closer to me daily is getting me the closest. One cat here is now tentatively coming into the front hall. I'm not sure how long it will be beore he'll let me touch him, but these are good hunters with other scraps left out on local farms for them. Very emaciated cats that have previously been tame should be more willing to communicate.

Thanks lir. I'm not sure I want to feed them as I don't want pets right now and they are tame enough. My aim is that they get looked after and the b1tch who owns them gets prosecuted for cruelty. Will def give CPL a call though, there's one not far from here.
