Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Thanks guys...
HE doesn't know about the holiday and would be mightily unimpressed if he did (his view is that single parents on benefits should not have any luxuries...despite him putting me in this position!).
The kids did have a fun time this evening.....it was only a couple of hours but it was what was needed. Tomorrow will hopefully be a longer time with cinema and possibly taking them for a game of pool afterwards and wonders of wonders, he is actually going to give them something to eat.
Doubt it will be the start of him having them more, he lives too far away for that and when eldest mentioned about them coming up for a holiday in the school hols a week ago, there was a mysterious loss of connection. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Oh yes, he married the woman he slept with during our marriage.
Eldest is planning on going up on his own to stay with his dad in the summer hols, not sure what Ex thinks about it but eldest is as determined as his mother :rotfl: Eldest says he wants to remind his father of his parental duties..not sure he will get very far with that stance. We made it! Holy cr&p Sue, I never realised you were married to The White Horse!

Hehe....strangely though, it was how we both thought in our married days. I was the worlds worse at judging single parents on benefits and was rather vitriolic against them.

I think you are being a bit harsh on yourself.
Man , I was the The Most Judgemental person in the whole world when I was about 30.....I also knew absolutely everything about everything too.:o
As you grow older, you experience stuff and it alters your views. I have to say, I would love to know how old WH is. If he is 58, I take the above back and apply it to only some of us.0 -
So pleased for you Sue. A bit of a break every now and then is so important. I hope you enjoyed it.
Eldest may not have much success in getting Ex to understand his parental responsibilities, but don't discourage him from trying. That's between him and his dad. It's also a demonstration that however blind and unreasonable Ex may be, Eldest notices how hard you work to look after your boys, and he notices how unfair it is, and he cares, and wants things to be better for you. Everything you say about him seems to confirm what a lovely young man he is.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
