Keyboard/piano and drums......and some guitar ones thrown in for good measure! I can't afford to send him for lessons and he gets so far working out the keys himself from listening to tracks but he has been asking for the books. Went into a few shops yesterday and the cheapest I could find locally were £14.99 (eekk!).
And thanks, office based work is much more my area as is customer services sort of thing...maybe it will turn out the ECDL wasn't a waste of time!
ebay is good - we've bought various off there for DDs - or freecycle might turn up trumps.0 -
It's usually a popular boot sale but there just wasn't the people this time around, in fact there were less people actually doing the boot sale.
Do you think it could be a World Cup effect? I've been out to get my weekly shop and there weren't as many people out as usual. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I only see adverts for ones on Sunday: if Ifound a wednesday one it would be great. While I realise not as many people might be able to go to buy on a wednesday the sundays are an issue because DH's weekends are sort of precious; I'd be happy to go alone.0 -

Look on ebay to see what the gameboy would fetch. Sometimes games no longer in production are sought after and can fetch more than they originally cost.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. We see a lot of books and DVD's for sale.20p is roughly the going rate for a paperback. Some sell them at 6 for a £1. With DVD's, we find that you have to practically give them away, to save bringing them back home.0 -
