Quick, quick...you are probably in time, are they still on the tree...get who ever is in the house to hang unwanted cds from the branches, on lengths of string. The birds thing the are the HUGE eyes of bird bigger than them then you get all the cherries!

We have lots of cherries here, and I know I'll want cherries at the new place too. I'm trying to choose varieties for an order that will be me as a house warming gift from an older friend.
Really? It just so happens I have a stack of old CD's and couldn't face listing them on Ebay...I know a 10p is a 10p but it would take hours to list them all. The furniture was hard enough going ...how many questions???? All sold though and all at a 'profit' yay.

Now will my neighbour mind the shimmering CD's? I was sitting out back and could hear an annoying tinkly tinkly sound....like tin can lids knocking together. Noticed that my very suburban neighbour has gone all spiritual and has hung windchimes in her tree next door. I tried to ignore the sound....so it just got louder, even pushing the hum of traffic into 2nd place.
I may have to have a word when I go home......how annoying they were...the pitch was quite painful after a while.

Of course you can. Tonights theme seems to be marrow growing, protecting cherries from birds without poisons and how to tactfully ask ones neighbour of 15 years to take down her annoying windchimes.

really! We got a great crop after doing this. I also have a couple of garden eyes, but for the chickens.

The cds also have pretty lights thrown off them :o:o:o disco garden. Best to take them in after the cherries crop if it is a dry summer, n case of those pretty lights causing any damage. I left mine out all last year: it was wet and cold.

If courgettes grow into marrows, does cherry blossom produce cherries?

LIR, can I ask your advice about my so called gambling win......

You put a measuring stick near her and she comes in just under 14.2. But she corries down, I don't know the english word, cowers I suppose.

At some point, the point where she grew too big, they have dropped a hot iron on her, you can see the scarring to her withers.

Anyways her size is not important.

When you can catch her (and that is an adventure in itself). I may need boxes built. She is a delight to ride, half mad, goes backwards most of the time. Lets disregard that.

    She can jump for fun.

She can can clear anything and I mean anything.

I bully her into submission. Sheer will, I imagine you know what I mean. I can make her do.

I can keep her, let her run and now and again run her down but it is a waste of a bliddy good horse. Or, and I am really reluctant to do this, I can batter what is left of her not inconsiderable spirit out of her and turn her into......... well she wont ever be nicely behaved but I can turn her into a 14.2 (and she will always be that now) which the right nasty minded teenager will win everything on.

I am tempted to just let her be.

    Advice please.
