    Hi Sue,

I'm sure you are doing all these things anyway :

It is only when it hits you that you realise that there is something to the guff about posture and regular breaks from key boards and a regime of regular exercise aimed core stability etc.
    A good mattress is essential.
There is also a sort of feed back mechanism - something about being optimistic and natural endorphins.

Its been a lovely day today - the light out doors is a huge magnitude if what is available, and really we are designed to live much nearer the tropics anyway.
I have a bird box full of baby blue tits - they have been looking out of the hole all day and now I have the smallest bundle of fluff, I've ever seen standing on a flower pot on the kitchen window sill, with a sibling still plucking up courage inside the box.

Let us know how things go with the scan.

    Harry.

    Piccies please!

We saw some lovely fluffy ducklings ducklings at Richmond Park on Saturday - took pics and will post if I can figure out how to do it.

I've not heard a cuckoo in years....

Good Lord, what have they done to this site????

Errr...I think it looks rather attractive. Did they do all that in the time I took to do the watering? (OK, and have tea & biscuits chat to people etc etc.) Impressed. :)

    Same old smilies though! :(:(

    It does my head in.

How do you revert to the old view? This just makes my eyes swim.

Lots of parakeets around this year.
    These ones : http://www.bbc.co.uk/naturestop40/ep5/s24.shtml

    Noisy birds...

I was astonished to find that Parakeets are third on the list of bird populations on Hampstead Heath, although I suppose it might have just been the same half dozen following the people round who were doing the counting.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Bouche has reminded me that's probably time for a new thread soon, as astonishingly this thread is now more or less the same length as the original nice people's thread!

I have to post this, because it's just so bloody weird that I needed to share it with someone:

The picture of the poor horse (yes, it is real), is on this link here:

There are some odd people out there...

Hope her daughter liked it. :p

Bouche just reminded me of what a sad person I am......I won't be taking part in this thread anymore.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Oh.

Ignore bouche. S/he only does it to annoy.

    Scratch away, bouche.

IMHO, a life without pleasantries is no sort of life at all. Now that really would be sad.

I hope you are not being serious.

You are not a sad person but a fun one coping with difficult challenges. Don't disappear.

I believe those Parakeets were not indigenous to the county and became pests throughout Hampstead Heath. I believe they were bought by nice people with good intentions but then let them go as they were a bit noisy. All of a sudden there were thousands of them turning up in Parks all over London and so, they were culled.

They damaged the environment, took vital foods from our own little birdies and caused an utter nuisance.

Such a shame, they're so pretty:(

But We need to, at the end of the day, protect our own fluffy ducks, over and above these birds else we might not see them again.

"Gay" horses and green parakeets - for some reason Bill Oddy likes the parakeets - he will change his mind when they take a fancy to his apple crop.
