Yikes, thanks for noticing my absence, but I'm fairly sure its been less than a week since my last post :rotfl:
    - you know you spend way too much time online when people notice you've gone for like 5 whole days :D

No nothing major, just general tidying up, since I've decided I will now live in this house, under-occupying :D, til I'm about 87, I thought it was time to get round to those odd jobs I've been putting off

Everyone OK? Sorry to hear about the mortgage hurdles lir....

Seems the public sector bashing is picking up, as are the disagreements in HPs- Contributary factors I guess I mean. Labour electioneering capturing my attention, I've stopped drinking.... strange times, happy days, or summin :)

I did have a funny chat the other week with someone scarily impt who said 'Of course, you will want to discuss it with your team'' and I looked down at Ginger to see what he thought[/QUOTE]

    I can't stop laughing.

It is a bit like the publishers saying forward this to your agent so I pass it on to the brat.

Wow, that all sounds so exciting to an outsider fc, but can see how stressful it must be for you though  Good luck with sorting it all out. 3 shops- thought it was just 1 more new store? You have been busy! :)

Same here. People phone and ask for accounts or warehousing or whatever and I can never decide whether to transfer from one cordless to the other and change my voice or not. The best one was when I had diverted the calls to my mobile, answered it in Tesco just as the tannoy came on and said "welcome to Tesco, todays' special offer is..." how do you explain your office phone being in Tesco?

We recently valued my time on all the things I do and I have to do far more development (the highest value) and not waffle around on Ebay (so have done a bulk clearance instead to an ebay seller I know),

Have you thought of using brandalley.co.uk?

I been offered 30k as an advance on a book.

I phoned up and they thought I was complaining. They actually apologised and went on about the present economic climate

I have and, as we no longer sell on e-tailer, could have been good but we don't have enough clearance for someone like them.....which is a good thing I guess.

I have a problem with waste but you can't just put the stuff out anywhere as it affects the perceived value of what you do and what you sell it for so I end up with 6 of this and 20 of that in least popular colour sat in cartons plus loads of samples that never go into production and the odd dud style.
I used re-cut things into a different garment but it's not cost effective to do now

We cleared at the event in Birmingham and are booked again this year but the bargain hunters want specific things in Dec....not past season summer.

I know the ebay girls business and her shop and she will be good for samples and odds and ends....mind you just got an order from USA for some of it too so not too shabby.

Every day I live by my sig and think what would 'old' FC123 do? ..then I do it differently.:o

    30k? wow...did they 'up' it?

What's it about? Link when published so we can have a read. Mind you as it's MSE, one of us will buy one and lend it out to the others .....not good for royalties.:o
