Debt Dropping the Elfen way!

Have tried this before, but plan to stick to it this time (must remember to subscribe to my own thread.....)

I'm Elfen, I live with Pint and I have my own debts. They only total about £2k, but when you don't have it, it seems like a LOT! Currently owe money to:
3 - £35
Hamptons (Cap 1 and HBOS OD) - £320
Buchanan, Clark and Wells (Provy loan) - £234
T-mobile (old contract bill) - £426
HBOS C/C -£1,060

Total: £2075
I'm currently paying £5 to each a month as this is what I can afford. I have no savings, and as a student (I aso get IB and DLA MRC LRM) my money goes up and down dependant on the month, so I have settled at this so I know what's going in and out.

In an attempt to get some form of credit rating, I have my student account with Barclays (£1k interest free O/D, currently in the black - woohoo!) a mobile contract with Vodafone (£25 p/m 24 month contract taken out in August) and a Vanquis credit card (not the best choice, but they were the only ones who'd give me on, and every little helps right?) Currently, I do my spends on the c/c (train fares and groceries) and pay it over every week.

My next money due in is my grant and loan in April, and my second bursary payment in May. I am contemplating (and probably will) clear the 3 debt in May, and then use the 5 from that to put towards my HBOS c/c, which ups the payments there to £10 a month. This is the highest, so seems the most logical.

When my April grant/loan goes in, around half to three quarters is moved to my savings account (depends how far into the O/D I am, I don't like to stay in it, interest free or not) and then put back in dependant on needs over the next 4 months. If there is any left in there when September/October's grant/loan goes in, this will be put towards another of my debts.

I know this is long, so forgive me.
My second task is weightloss. I'm currently 3 stone overweight (started at 3 and a half stone) so need to lose quite a bit - but I'm giving myself til Christmas so it's not an unreasonable target. I try to do at least 15,000 steps on uni days, and do my rowy/twisty exercises for 20 mins at least once a day (goes up to three on days off, with weekends being MINE) I'm hoping this'll work...and that I actually keep it up!

Phew!

IA, it's better 2k and paying it then ignoring it. I did ignore for a while mainly because I couldn't cope. I still can't really but luckily they've allowed the lower offers.

HBOS payment is now £9 a month, they can't complain, it's been nearly doubled....

Did another 25 mins of twisty/rowy last night - making an hour.

Done 8,000 steps today, so have just done another 15 mins of twisty/rowy.

Plan for tonight is pop down the pub for a bit, then come how with Pint and get some dinner, then I don't know....

Really does annoy me sometimes. Pint had a go cos my psych appointment (booked for the last month) interferes with him going and getting hammered with the darts team. So I've said, if I ca nre-arrange to see my normal psych I'll try to, but if not, he has to compromise on his night out (theyre going to go play golf - boring, have a meal then get hammered - boring, and stay in some stupid hotel) But if I can't change it, then he's gonna go play golf and go for the meal and come home. Don't see why I should change my appointment tbh, my head is finally used to the idea of it....but oh no.....

    OK...
    Brekkie: GF grilled bacon sarnie
Lunch: GF corned beef sarnie, packed of crisps
    Afternoon snack: GF wafer biscuits

    That's how far I've got.

Mkay, adding to the debt dropping is me putting stuff on eBay. Currently have 14 items listed, and when they've sold I may put another batch on there, depends on how it sells.

Next bit: I want to lose weight. So far I've lost 9lb.....but I want to lose more. So now I'm bringing in the almighty bike rides. Tomorrow will be my first, and I'll do a shorter one Wednesday, then alternate them (long one one day off, shorter one the other - but both over 10 miles there and back)

    I had a naughty.....

I need a new big handbag, or as Pint calls them, the Tardis bag. I've been looking for one for MONTHS....so I trundle into TK Maxx, and there on the sale rail, is a gorgeous baby-blue contraption.....is now mine :) It was £12 so not massive...but no more handbags for me for a bit.
