AS a side note this isnt a one off i have caught him trying to burn things before in the kitchen but that was months ago and i thought we had got our point across obviously not!
Have you shown him the consequences of house fires? You could find some news stories and show him what would happen if the house did go on fire.
Contact the local fire station and see if they are doing any displays anywhere. I was on holiday in Scotland and we went to a museum and there was a big fire brigade display there. We did a bit where they talked us through what we should do if we got caught in a house fire and how to escape. Then we went into a house that was full of hazards and we had to spot them all - like curling tongs left on a bed, ashtray on the sofa etc. All of a sudden the lights went out and a orange glow was in one corner and a smoke smell appeared and the fireman started yelling "get out, get out" and we all had to remember what we'd been told and escape. That frightned my two who were 6 and 4 at the time, and as far as I know they've never played with fire.
Been looking at the Trafford Centre website this evening! We're going on holiday in May and staying overnight at Manchester Airport Hilton. I've read the hotel restaurant is very expensive and naff, so we don't want to eat there. Are there any other nice places to eat nearby Manchester Airport? We like pretty much all tastes apart from Chinese as Craig hates it!Here I go again on my own....0 -

SS, no zebras at my tesco (but a huge delivery was clogging up most of the isles). I'll keep my eyes open though cos I would like one for Amber
If I do see any I'll grab one for you (I can always return it if you have one already).
And yes it did close early! 10.10pm the lights went out, but there were NO signs saying they were closing early. This store stayed open over Christmas!0 -
