He will be 8 on monday MFD

We have lighters in the house as the hob lighter thing doesnt work so i have to light it manually. They were up in the top cuboard in the kitchen so he has obviously climed up and got one.

I did think of calling the local fire station my only problem with that is about a month ago some little toad in the street tried to set fire to my house thank fully it was nothing serious but the fire brigade came out and DS1 was so excited and got to meet them all and had the fire is dangerous talk with them then. Im just hopeing that it wasnt all the flashing lights and fuss that has made him think it would be fun to burnt things.

One of my freinds suggested buying him a big box of matches and sending him down the garden with a load of cardboard until he got it out his system. She doesnt have any kids does it show lol.

the courier is EZ delivery and it states 48 hour delivery but it always gets there the next day!

Sami ebay are stating you cannot have more than £4 postage for items!
how can they do that?! goonies! I know they want to stop people taking the mick but at the end of the day if you don't like what someone's charging don't bid! special delivery is about £3 for something really light its would be like £5 for something like a thick outdoor coat - ebay sucks!

lolly - I was the same in my early teens I was a bit of a pyromaniac, I'm not really sure what you can do besides putting a smoke alarm in every room to catch him (I'm assuming he's old enough to get hold of lighters/matches himself?) I just grew out of it.

Glam you are so naughty :naughty: but glad you got off!

BTW, when I went for my follow-up eye appt yesterday, they told me about their referral prog, so if you are interested in having yours done, let me know. Basically they issue a £300 voucher to me, which I'll need to send to you. It will give me £150 for recommending you and you £150 off your treatment.

How's your MFW progress? I'm going to go and hunt down your diary...
  • Yay for waving SS - was it open and closed hand waving, normal hand side to side waving or up and down floppy waving?

Benjamin is a waver of the big gay wave variety - he taught Krystal's Caitlyn to do it too :rotfl:

lolly I guess you need to lock away the lighter maybe it'll fit in one of those cheap cash boxes? or get hold of one of those hob lighters that just sparks, they are quite hard to come by these days but my mum has one I could ask if she remembers where it's from?
I'm not sure what more you can do really if he's anything like me as a kid you can do what you like and he'll still do it (I'm a good girl now though :D)

Maz - you're a nicer mum than me lol I'd have told H to like it or lump it with the cheap dummies . Is it all 3 types of CTN dummies that are expensive?

No just the old oval shaped ones... and dont think I could have done that to a 8 month old  but I'm not this nice!!!!!!

Yes it was, I throughly recommend it. There is a teacher person there to help if needed.

It's not fun if you are allowed. For me it was the idea that it was naughty and bad and you would get into trouble if caught (was the only thing I really did that was bad). And fire is pretty to look at, and the smell and the melting things (proper little pyromaniac me).
