i haven't had my hair cut since i was 5 months pregnant. :o how does one go about finding a decent hairdresser for cheap? :o

mobile hairdressers are usually cheaper and alot of salons have certain days where the trainee's use people as models (free) or its cheaper

Any colleges near you? They're usually looking for models to practice on and they would be monitored... I got my hair done end of last week (a treat from my hubby) and now have a fringe for the first time in many, many years :D Also highlights so now have dark brown / black hair with caramel highlights: I love it :D

    * I get nervous too * How about some toast or something quick? Enough to satisfy hunger pangs but not sit heavy on your stomach so you get some sleep.

Currently munching on a cheese toastie - just hope the cheese doesn't give me nightmares lol! (is that really true, and if so why?!?)

naturally its mousey brown, and ive had lot of higghlights, so its blonde now, but it just appears dull after a few weeks and i have it done every 6 weeks
Then I'd go rich dark brown as it'll stay looking fresh longer and roots won;t be as noticable!

I need my hair cutting. Would have liked it done before the meet Weds but won't manage it now with the bank hols I don't think

Aless I second the Toni & Guy teaching academy, if you have one near you. My family all get cuts/colours done there and haven't had a bad job yet.

I might have different hair on Wed just to confuse you all :rotfl:

Tia I've got to wait for OH to get back from his parents, hopefully he won't be too long then I can have my cake!

Riht ladies my cheese toastie has been eaten so I'm off to bed! If anyone has any spare "baby sleeping til at least 1am again before needing feeding" vibes please send them Alfie's way!! Thanks very much :rotfl:

Aless hope you and Finn have a better night tonight too

    Night all x

Aless - I have a mobile hairdresser she comes to my house every six weeks, she does mum, me, my niece and Katie for £40.

I found it much easier with Katie as she doesn't like the sound of hand dryers in public toilets and the noise would be similar in a hair salon.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
    dreams do come true (eventually!)
