I know I'm not around much, but I have a question!
Does anybody know if you can freeze shop-bought baby puree? I normally feed Andrew on home-mixed purees, but I've taken advantage of some of the vouchers and bought a couple of jars of stage 1 food. However, Andrew is still sooooo small that he only eats about a quarter of a jar at a meal. Even if I push the "use within 24hrs" guidance to the next day's meal, that's still half a jar wasted. Does anybody reckon it's okay to open a jar, spoon out one meal, and then freeze the rest in meal-sized portions?
I would freeze but if you are unsure they have live web chat on the C&G website?0 -
Tigs - I've checked the jars I have here:
G&G - use within 48 hours, do not freeze
Heinz - use within 48 hours, nothing said about freezing
Hipp - use within 3 days, nothing said about freezing0 -
