They are saying that I now have a 14 day consultation period and then my 'notice' of 1 week for every 7 years full service starts then. So effectively at the end of April I get my usual salary plus 5 weeks.

Surely I should get my usual salary plus 7 weeks?

Am I wrong?

I think they might be right, IIRC you can work during the notice period, obv need to check the stuff on dwp/direct gov though x

Usual salary plus 7 weeks sounds more sensible to me. *confused*

I need to get it in writing and see what happens.

There is no incentive for me to work the final 2 weeks if that is the case.

3 - well i'm sure you know what it's like- carnage most days. She never sits down and talks 19 to the dozen ALL the time It's so cute though

MacSmiler - a funny situation but I will continue to work (quite probably in the same job) without a break (unless I take the last 2 weeks in April in protest!). I just feel like I am being diddled!

must be just my DH who has to be at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight lol!!

off to meet some RLF today for lunch and gosdip and general moan lol!! one of my friends is 7 months pg so will be great to see how she is getting on.

Mine isn't too bad at the moment as she's too idle to walk on her own. I should enjoy the last few weeks before the real fun starts.


The talking reminded me.
Apart from Mumma, Dadda and DoDo (Jojo), she said this morning 'DET DOW' whilst wagging her finger at the dog. I obviously spend too much time telling the dog to get down. We'll have to work on a name for Liv now before she starts to feel left out - but I think L is quite a hard sound for little ones. She'll probably end up being Wiv.

I decided against an IKEA visit. Gonna have a Next Home visit instead and get the mat that I have wanted for ages -- £55, and then paint my fireplace wall to match. just need to have a nosey for blacky/silvery/grey cushions.....

Carla Do you have Poundstretcher over there? My little sis got some gorgeous silver cushions for her new bedroom in there last week, 2 for £5.
