    Hi Tara :)

I think you should go with a strappy number... You can't have worse bingo wings than me and my dress was strapless... I still felt like a princess! :)

Don't ask me to help you look though... I'm struggling for something to wear to hubby's cousin's wedding next week... Ordered about 40 tops out the catalogue yesterday... Hope they arrive in time to choose one!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I went the opposite way, and had a pashmina thing. I felt a bit uncomfortable, and like I was covering up. I should have gone with what I wanted, and enjoyed wearing a strappy number.

    Hello everyone,

I tend to just lurk on the threads, trying to keep up with you all and get lots of ideas!

I just want to ask a quick question about weaning... Jacob is now 23.5 weeks old an I began weaning a couple of weeks ago...

He started off with baby rice, moving on to carrot and swede puree... He has had weetabix over the weekend and had a taste of crumpet and toast... I am going to give him a bit of banana for lunch today too...

Just wondering what foods you used in the early days and also when is it ok for him to have yogurt and also meat? This is all very new and scary to me!!!

    Hope you are all ok!

    Thanks
    Mad

    Hi Mad,

    Welcome to you and Jacob.

I agree, weaning a scary time :D. I was looking forward to it, and then once you are doing it, it's rather challenging.

The guidelines (currently ;)) for meat and diary are from 6 months, but of course, it's really down to you as to what you are comfortable with.

Ask some on here and they will tell you i listen too much to what you 'should' do as opposed to what my instinct is, but with my LO just over 1 now, i am listening to me now :D.

    All the best x

you are far too young to wear that.

I doubt you'll find a nice enough dress with sleeves, go for a shrug/stole/pashmina/jacket.
don't worry about length, get it altered :p
Do you want a big-ish dress or would you be more comfortable in something more like you would traditionally wear for a christening (have you seen what some wear these days? more like what gypos wear to appleby!

MDW, I'm not the best to advise on weaning as I'm not very up-to-date, sorry. Reckon I've done it all wrong.

    Hi Af and MFD.
