I think you should go with a strappy number... You can't have worse bingo wings than me and my dress was strapless... I still felt like a princess!

Don't ask me to help you look though... I'm struggling for something to wear to hubby's cousin's wedding next week... Ordered about 40 tops out the catalogue yesterday... Hope they arrive in time to choose one!

I went the opposite way, and had a pashmina thing. I felt a bit uncomfortable, and like I was covering up. I should have gone with what I wanted, and enjoyed wearing a strappy number.

Hi Mad,

Welcome to you and Jacob.

I agree, weaning a scary time . I was looking forward to it, and then once you are doing it, it's rather challenging.

The guidelines (currently ) for meat and diary are from 6 months, but of course, it's really down to you as to what you are comfortable with.

Ask some on here and they will tell you i listen too much to what you 'should' do as opposed to what my instinct is, but with my LO just over 1 now, i am listening to me now .

you are far too young to wear that.

I doubt you'll find a nice enough dress with sleeves, go for a shrug/stole/pashmina/jacket.

Do you want a big-ish dress or would you be more comfortable in something more like you would traditionally wear for a christening (have you seen what some wear these days? :eek: more like what gypos wear to appleby!
