We changed ours the other day. You need to unscrew the four screws (or so OH says, I wouldn't know). Hope that helps.

Sorry, should have said also that the battery compartment and light up bit lift right out of the toy so you can get to them easily.

Parcel tape, think Ben used it all yesterday, we made a Egg thingyamebob for the competition at school, very impressed with our 'Eggpedition to the Moon' model.

But the hole is too small for it to fit, this will not beat me...
