Aw, he is gorgeous. Doubt I can get Holly to open her mouth like that. She looks stunned at the production of a camera!

I need to go shopping for outfits for this weekend - I have a hen weekend in Manchester, but really can't be bothered going out. Still not feeling great. Can't really be bothered with hen weekend either though - and don't want to leave my baby!

I cancelled a hen weekend :o One of my oldest and dearest friends but I just couldn't leave him :o She understood tho.
Am dreading going back to work too (if I have a job!)

I hate clothes shopping when I don't feel well, everything is just blah

I hate clothes shopping when I am about 3 stones too heavy!! I may still cancel weekend. Kind of hoping we are unwell! But I have already spent so much bloody money on it. Mind you, it would save me money on outfits for the races and such like.

Trying to decide whether to give H some baby porridge or wait until lunchtime and give her some puree instead. Hmmm, I am crap at this weaning lark!

Any news from last night anyone?

Yep - the 'lurker' is fine ;) Sorry to be so cryptic - needs must :)

Elle - not sure when J ended up in our bed last night :o But he slept til 9am :j
Think I'll have to put him to bed at 7am so that he's up at 8am - he's only just had brekkie! He's just eaten a whole weetabix with a fromage frais and half a banana! Piglet!

Yeah for H's teeth and boo for dia-woo-woo - glad she's over it now.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

It is weird, though to a point I've still got that feeling as I'm half expecting baby boy to come early (I've had quite a few contractions, though so far they haven't come to anything!)
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

I had false starts and bouts of contractions from 35weeks!!!! And went to 42 :(:D Would it be go straight to the hospital for an 'urgent' section if you went into labour naturally?

Can you get you parents to come to your house instead...at least he could stay tucked up in his own bed that way? I am sure he would be fine, just keep dosing him up with medicine and fingers crossed he improves before baby decided to mak an appearance......hey, it's still a week away yet:D

Yes Mum and Dad only live around the corner so that would be fine ,think I am just at that final stage worrying over silly things and trying to over complicate matters ,thanks for all your advice x

They have said that if I go into established labour, they will probably let me go naturally. To be honest, that prospect quite frightens me as I found Amelie's birth quite traumatic as she got quite distressed before they got her out, the midwives spent quite a lot of time umming and ahhing before panicing... didn't give me a lot of confidence.

I started with Baby Rice, then mixing it with Veg puree mid afternoon. Then just veg/fruit puree on it’s own, or combinations mixed together. She has had baby porridge, fromage frais, and bread/cucumber/apple/banana to gum on. She hasn’t ever refused any of it, but only takes a tiny amount. But if she takes a tiny amount, she won’t take her milk. It seems to put her off her bottle, but there is no way she is taking enough food to make up for not taking her milk.

As she wasn’t really showing signs of being extra hungry, like waking up, and since we were going away at the weekend, and she had diarrhoea, I just decided to shelf it for a week to see how we got on. She doesn’t seem to have missed it!

Well looks like Holly needs a nap. I think I will join her for a change when my washing cycle finishes.
Oh, Next delivery! I got a sale slot so bought some stuff for Holly. Hmm, a jacket and some foam floor mats for playing on. Still loads to come another day then.
