I've defrosted frozen sausages before Kindof, what does the back of the pack say?
And my mum said the other day that variflow are similar to a breast as they can control the pace, therefore not taking it loads of air.
So i guess it would help
I was going to get some variflow, but she seems ok on the number 1 teats at the moment0 -

How you doing? x
We're good ta. Rhys has been a whingy so and so for the last 2-3wks and I was really not handling it well but I'm feeling better now (farming him out to Mum's helped for a few days break). Still no teeth (are we record beaters yet? when did B get his first?) but he has reached a whole stone in weight while you've been away
ARGH!! Just had to let the hugest bee ever back out the door!
Where was I?
Oh, and we got a letter saying Rhys' blood results were "unremarkable" - were you here for that? - hurrah for being boring
Talking of the 7th, I won't be here to hold the fort for a change... it's my first KIT day!!0 -
EA why dont you ask about the evra patch its basically the same as the pill but you slap a patch on once a week and dont have to remember to take a tablet everyday :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Wind is normal. Its only a problem if he can't bring it up or it hurts him. Its up to yourself on the teats.
Think all babies start off a feed like they've never been fed and then chill out when they realise its not going anywhere!
I'd just defrost sausages in the micro0 -
kindofagilr wrote: »Can anyone answer the wind/vari flow/number 2 teat question?
Or the frozen sausauge question (google isnt bringing anything up)
Are they fresh sausages that have been frozen, or from a packet of ready frozen sausages?
If they are ready frozen, I'd cook them off in a frying pan from frozen, just to brown them and then bung in the 'hole to finish cooking...
If they are fresh that have been frozen, you could defrost them in the microwave.... not sure how long they would take, so I'd say give them 3 minutes, and then check how they are going, and then repeat in microwave till all defrosted.....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
jillie i checked for tickets for the 7th and they're not even showing all the tickets prices just incase :undecided: x
Still searching .....:)

Lily is like that, she throws her face at the bottle with a crazed look in her eyes making snuffly noises :rotfl:0 -
Hi Bruno! How are you and E? (And DW obv!)
Hijust having a quick (lengthy) catch-up while singing nonsense at the boy to keep him distracted.
E is good, in vocabulary mode these last few weeks, easily 100+ words in use and absorbs more very casually (gave him some quiche at lunch, he says "diskit?" I say "no, quiche" he says "keeech" and then remembered when asking for "moh keeech").
I am a bit fraught at work, down about the 'running of the house' and failing to keep up with domestic stuff (will use a bit of last month's bonus to hire some cleaners to come in for a hefty spring-clean I think), and early last week an old friend committed suicidehad only seen him once in the last year or so, for his dad's funeral, but have known him 20 years and he played piano at our wedding
He has 4 siblings who are all friends of mine and I should've gone visited them this weekend really but ugh. Going to funeral during the week though. No idea what drove him to it, at all.
Anyway sorry to appear from nowhere and derail proper parenting-talk!
Welcome back MFDsounds like good times as long as B feeling grumpy didn't spoil too much! I am desperate for sunny beaches but we are both fearful of the hassle with mobile shouty-id-beast toddler in tow, so we are going to Dorset and Cornwall for 5 nights in May and that will have to do for now. Maybe I will feel brave enough for a Greek island in Sept or something!
ETA - redundancy? Is this the deliberate change to self-employeed industry goddess?
Becles, hugs and fingers crossed for a resolution, if I feel upset reading about your situation I can't imagine what it's like to be actually in itwishing you luck to get things sorted somehow.
I must take Elijah swimming again, we went twice many months ago then somehow never got round to it again ...tsk.
I often defrost sausages in the microwave!0 -

Vari flow - never got the hang of them. Wind, I let them have about an oz then wind them (with a dummy in the mouth if needed), seems to be they can have a bit of residual wind from the last feed.0
