  • Ooh, quiet tonight. I'm here lurking, just not much to say.

Lunch with my emotionally crippled father and crazy step-mother today. I swear she was drunk- she called my baby fatty :(.

Henry was funny and charming as ever though and has been really cuddly today. I really am so besotted with him it's unreal.

On the DOTD subject, OH and I haven't yet :o. I think it's having H in our room more than anything else.

LOL I said earlier today, "I can't wait for Rhys to fall asleep sat up on the sofa" cos he's never done it before.. Then tonight while we were eating tea, he did! :D (surrounded by toys, but preferring to play with a piece of paper!)

I've had a yummy steak sandwich for tea and a glass of wine already. About to pour another one and open my birthday chocolates :D

I'm back. Not sure what that was all about, but she's been settled for about 10 minutes now, so hopefully that's it for the night.

Will carry on catching up now...
  • I managed a whole 15 minutes in the bath before OH began asking for help. Anya decided to throw up over him, the sofa, herself and all near by blankets and cushions lol. Can't leave em alone for a minute. Tut. He's hopped in the bath now and left me to clear up. How nice!

SM - have you had fun in London?

FR - it's a nightmare TTC'ing did you have any investigations - ignore me if it's too personal but I have fertility issues myself.

I'm a total lightweight when it comes to drinking I think I have one alcoholic drink a year when I'm on holiday, I never really developed a taste for it so can take it or leave it and when we're off to parties I prefer to be able to get home.

Kindof, we had very different births but I felt the same as you. Ten months on, I certainly haven't ruled out having another one :) (not for a good few years yet but that was the plan anyway!). At the end of the day, the birth and subsequent days (and week and months!) in hospital is just a tiny bit of their childhood and it does all fade eventually :) xxx
