3onits yeah they will be if this one comes on time i would have to go 6days over for the new one to be thrown into the next year and as ive never gone over in my last 3 pregnancies i can't see this one doing it either. Its another reason why i think a littel girl would be nice as they would then have their own sets of friends and i dont think they would compete so much like two boys might. It will be interesting to see how they pan out though if they are in the same year there are many different arguments as to weather its better to be one of the youngest in the year or one of the oldest :-)

ARGGHHHH I think bubs has chicken pox ANY ADVISE??

we went away last weekend and on the day we were leaving the young boy of the family we were staying with developed a chicken pox rash. Bubs started with a rash yesterday on his belly at first i thought it was heat rash as the spots were tiny but they have grown over night and im sure one or two have very tiny blister heads. I Have called NHS direct and the nurse is going to call me back and will take him to the docs if needed but i know there isnt alot they can do other than piriton and lotion. he seems fine in himself. Have any of your babies had chicken pox at 6months or very young and are there any tips to help keep him comfortable :-)

Oh yeah forgot to mention i am pregnant as well but that shouldnt be a problem as i have had chicken pox and been vaccinated against rubella :-)

I was catching up bit not gonna post but just wanted to ask if anyone has suggested Rhus Tox? Amazing stuff for Chicken Pox, and non medical!

fishcake, don't try and turn it on, just take it apart as much as poss, wipe dry and put on top of radiator/ airing cupboard for a day or two. Only when it seems completely dry try to turn it on. Apparently it is the trying to turn them on when still too damp that short circuits them (or something more techy! :D) but mine went down the toilet (Ewwwww!) and I sorted it like this.

I didnt see any one mention it TJ but thanks if bubs starts getting irratated by it i will grab some. My DS1 has just come in and showed me some spots on his tummy one looks like a burst chicken pox but the others have no head problem is he has already had chicken pox i know you can get it more than once as i myself have had it twice when i was little its just so unusual for someone to get it more than once and he isnt the luckiest of kids poor little might i will just have to keep an eye on him and hope for the best :-)

    Thank you Dora...bookmarked:)

The kids are so excited. I realised earlier that we haven't had a holiday for over 3yrs and the last one was only a few days away camping in Conwy!! I am definitely going to make more of an effort for them.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

The earlier you take it the better the results. Ben had Chicken Pox and was covered in spots, even in his mouth and his bits. :( He didn't itch once, seriously I can't recommend it enough, wish I'd known about it before. Any health food shop has it. X

OH NO!!!!! Just emptied the washing machine and found my phone!!!

I've done it a few times :o, as said, take it apart as much as possible, battery out, sim card etc and put all the bits on a warm radiator for a few days.

There are two in L's year at school, the boy September and his sister August. They have totally separate friends (and are in different classes - but I think the school do that for twins/siblings). I didn't acutally know they were siblings for months, until I asked L why boys Mum always picks up girl from school too.

I think the age difference is more noticable when they're little, but now L is in yr 4, i can't see any difference between L (Oct) and her best friend (Jul).

I'm waiting for OH to finish his homework, then he's out to collect curry. Mmmmmmm.

Fishcake hope it dries out ok! Meant to say earlier it was lovely reading your post saying how happy you were! :)

We haven't DTD yet and A wll be 7 weeks on Monday. My cut is healed now but the scar is tender still so I'm a bit nervous. Need to get condoms first though as waiting for a coil to be fitted. Wish hospital had given us some!

Right well A is in bed now so as DH is out now and will only be getting home from work at about 6, just as A is waking up I am off to bed. Will be a long day tomoro when I have nobody to help me (and let me sleep) in the morning!

Dora :rotfl: at your DH! That's like something mine would do!

Hope everyone has a good night xx
