I am feeling much better after putting Tim Minchin's White Wine in the Sun on repeat - it is guaranteed to have me in floods of tears and while everyone else is asleep I am letting it all out. He has the expat experience dead right, except the thing that worries me the most: home for me is a difficult concept because there's where my parents live, where I spent most of my adult life so far, where my husband and baby and I live and they're all home to an extent - but they won't necessarily all be home to Molly and her future siblings.
    :grouphug:

So you consider more than one place to be "home"? I always correct people when they say things like, "Are you going home for Christmas?" when really they mean, "Are you going to visit your parents at Christmas?" because the only place I consider to be home is where I am now. But I've only lived in two places and didn't like the first so maybe I'm just weird - does everyone else count more than one place as being home?

Kindof, just another thought but have you got a decent pump? If you're doing a fair amount of expressing then it would be worth getting one I think. I have the Medela Mini Electric and it is fab
I'll third the recommendation of the Medela Mini Electric. (And I used it with batteries when camping and it was fine like that too although probably expensive to run if you always used batteries.)

SS - pleased you got your holiday sorted out.

    Beanie - she is beautiful.

KOAG - he's gorgeous. Thanks for posting all the pictures.

Weezl - that's a lovely offer to help people with photographs. Craig can do it and has managed to save pictures that I'd written off as they had errors. He also plays silly with it and cut out Josh out of a pic of him belly dancing, and stuck him on top of a gay pride bus, when he was being naughty and repeatidly calling James gay :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....
  • Sainsburys are doing their third off baby stuff from Friday, Maz so that might affect your spreadsheet.

Susan- I'm the same in that where I live is home, but that may be because my mum doesn't live in the house I grew up in, so her house has never been my home, if you know what I mean.

So I'm not totally weird then. My parents live in the house they moved to before I was born but I still don't consider it to be home.
