Finally phoned up and asked for a Tax Credits form to be sent out! What a nightmare I am. It will probably take me another 6 months to fill it out and return it! Seems like I will only get about £42 anyway on my full time wages and I don't think I will get much more if I go part time. :(

Just ignore me - I am talking to myself and thinking aloud. Might just go to bed now actually. Although H is probably due to wake up again!

£42 is better than nothing! Plus you get more in the first year - I get £80 a month and was based on earnings of £50K. OH is now on less and I've been on SMP but I don't think we'll get much more.

I spent £25 on nappies & baby food in boots and got a £5 off No.7.

needed a new foundation, saw the spend £18 & get a giftbag so picked up an eyeshadow, of course I then needed a lipstick to match - £25

then I got another £5 off voucher - then I found a voucher for 3 for £3 fruit pots so went back in & got another £5 off as it came to £5 before deduction.

I got home & realised I should have bought fruit pots before makeup then used a voucher off the lippy - agggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh & in giftbag I have a 250 points if you buy a No.7 moisturiser - so might have to go back & use that and the £5 off :o

I have a £5 voucher if you want it? I won't use it. I also got the fruit pots lol

    Very cute picture MFD :)

Apparently Tom Hanks is getting slated by the right wing press for things he said when promoting the new WWII film. Apparently he said World War II was about racism, and that's totally wrong. Excuse me? That war was the one where the six million Jews were killed, no?
You are right but it was about more than trying to wipe out the Jews. They also killed people with the wrong political views and people with physical or mental health problems. There was also the whole economic issue which was exacerbated by the excessive reparations from the Treaty of Versailles which was generally considered by Germans to be unfair. Also, we didn't fight it to defend the Jews - we actually turned away ships of Jews who were fleeing Nazi persecution. We only joined because Germany broke the appeasement agreement brokered by Chamberlain and the US only joined because Japan tried to take out their Navy. Both Germany and Japan were trying to build empires. (Obviously those statements are all gross oversimplifications.)

Can I ask a nerdy favour please?

Can those of you with babies open and shut your hands when you see the littlie doing it and see whether their reaction to you changes? I'll explain why if there's any response :)

    Sorry to quote myself.

I have emailed tech about this...does anyone know why they might sensor french accented letters.

Can someone have a go if they get a chance...and know how to do it.
