I also have a sleeping baby but know that when I copy him (doing anything) he looks at me like I've been really clever then does it again to see if I can do it too!

That's the kind of thing I was looking for - OH has noticed that when he copies her she does much the same thing, and one aspect of my research project (not my bit) is looking at the mirror neuron system in the brain and I'm wondering if it all connects together.
Is my baby old enough for this to work? (whatever it is!)

    Not sure SJ :)

I know it's not that simple Susan, but claiming that there was no racism in WWII is so ridiculous, and while I have an irrational taken-against stance when it comes to Tom Hanks it irks me when irrational people say irrational things.

In a more wealthy area, less services are required from the council and so council tax is sometimes lower. I remember reading about the council tax figures for different parts of London and the rough ones were more expensive than the posh ones.

I think Liverpool had the highest council tax in the country for a record number of years. Not sure if it still has. I think they've had a few years of price freezes.

We always try to copy him and engage him that way and we encourage him to copy us. Hes getting very good with his words now and knows everyones name. Not to say obviously but he will look for the person (or dog) when you say their name. He also shouts on the dog which is hilarious!

He will pick up his George beanie toy when Peppa Pig comes on the TV too.

When he crys, we do big over happy smiles at him and he smiles inspite of the tears, he can't help it!

Still won't bloody roll over tho!!!!!!!

Kezia does the same sort of thing. At about 3 weeks old I started poking my tongue out at her. Within 2 days she was doing it back, almost every time. It was our small way of communicating. Now though she has stopped in favour of smiles and giggles. *And whilst I love my smiles I do feel sad that we've lost our little tongue poking*

Mfd, you just reminded me of a time long past when dave and I were just people who drank together... One of our group came from Willenhall and D was always winding her up something chronic calling her a dingle... Good times... Well worth £34 ;)

Aimee has an accented first e... I very rarely put the accent on though...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh yeah....I did wonder about that actually. I need the accent as it changes the sound of the name......I have considered a few variations on the spelling but keep coming back to the original one, as that is the one we like most:)

So what is it then Mel? ;)

if you put Aimee's name into the software of Violet the dog it comes up with 2 variations of pronunciation...
