Not spoken to the CM yet so not sure whether we're on hold or finished. I think the thing that's putting me off contacting her is that if we're on hold it's going to cost me £30 a week which now we can't afford. I know I should get my head out the sand and just phone her! Boss's attitude seemed to be that leaving her for longer periods at a time for her to get used to it would be best. Errr, yeh, that's what we were doing with the CM! Unfortunately you can't tell a baby not to cry!

In fact, I had my works maternity policy out the other day - will have a check in there.

ETA: Ha Ha HA! Just looked and I do still accrue AL whilst on ML! Just phoned my boss to tell her - quite enjoyed it!

oooh 3, are you sure? Thank you! At the moment I have her in spotty top, denim dress and stripey tights. I love that she is still young enough that spots and stripes together are totally ok :D

If she's sickly and sleeping I'd miss it. No sense in waking a sleeping baby.

Edit: cause you do accrue leave as normal, as you get all the benefits of working while on maternity leave. You should also get lieu days for bank holidays, I believe.

I've followed Caz's advise and give Ed a bottle to play with, popped a it of water in it and he keeps sucking on it properly but mostly when it's not tipped enough to get any water out but blatantly he's just taking the P when he refusses milk from a bottle :p

Sorry - I have been AWOL.

Will C stay with anybody? Or is it just the CM? Do you think she might click better with another CM? Would you consider trying a nursery?

As far as I know you do PP. My mat leave ended October, but i'd accrued 4 weeks leave, so delayed my going back til November. I thought it was a legal requirement.

The changing faces of my big baby girl for anyone interested.

Oh yipee! Its a cardi and hat that match the tights - but in 9-12 for some unknown reason! But V wore them all together. :)

Yes - i'll leave her to sleep, then go to Asda when she decides to wake.

MFD Just think of all of the DIL's you'll have to be horrible too. :rotfl:

I think you can put it on his ankle underneath his sleepsuit at night if you're worried :)
