I'm not sure for formula fed, but when Caitlyn was newborn almost every nappy was a dirty one! And it looked like curry sauce. If it were me, as long as he's fine in himself I wouldn't change his milk too often - but I;m no expert!

Amber's poo is loose and yellow. If loose means runny. It's always been like that. Is he unwell or is it just the change in poo?

So plod came and took a 3 page statement, i said i want to press charges and am prepared to go to court (erm, eek!?) and gave ex's address and they'll "pick him up" soon.

edit - yeah curry sauce lol! And lots per day.

Would it help if you arrived early so that you had time to sit down and relax before going in? Apparently my dad had an operation a while ago and had to get his blood pressure down in order to have it and my mum said he used to arrive an hour before his appointment so he had time to sit down and rest/relax beforehand. Not sure how easy that would be with Elliot (and a whole hour is rather extreme) but thought I'd mention in case it helps. She also said he bought a blood pressure monitor to measure it at home to try and work out when it was higher/lower and what things affected it.

Thats a really usefull reply thank you :o I'm not very good at waiting in the waiting room, the longer i sit in there the more tense i get. So i try reading a magazine to distract me but for some reason i just tense up. I've asked my sister to meet me, and have Elliot for me while i go in (take that bit of stress away for me). I will set out early though, so i can walk casually there not rush or panick myself :o

I admit i do have a bp monitor, but keep forgetting to get it out :o It is on the side now, so I'll have a go later once I'm calm and relaxed.

It makes me laugh when the gp tells me to relax, it's obvious by problem lies with being there and her telling me makes me feel worse. I feel very silly, in my head I know its nothing to worry about but i can't stop myself tensing up and panicking about it?

    evening,
Thomas still has loose yellow stools , thought I would give Aptamil care line a ring , they say its normal to have loose yellow stools on there milk. And it wouldn't clear up . Erm I'm no sure its normal . What would you do change he's milk again , or give Aptamil a chance for a while ? I only changed him from sma gold on monday and had 8 dirty nappis today

    It is perfectly normal..

Green poo is underfed and needing more nutrients type poo
Frothy watery poo is an illness or digestive problem poo
No poo is just bad on so many levels.

Soft yellow poo is just perfect.

nikit - I'd give it 7 days before deciding to change again if he's happy, it takes some babies a while to get used to a change in milk.
Did you change it straight away or gradually introduce it?

    Something not from a jar!
Instead of buying the expensive baby past you can buy soup pasta its exactly the same thing but double the amount! i buy this for Erin and it lasts for ages!
I have one of those ..... she told me earlier that I was to get a life

She loves me really, I know she does :o
Glad its not just me with a cheeky so and so today! Meg is not allowed out for 2 nights as she knows she has to be back for 5 and came in at 6 the other night, she then told me her friends clock had said it was 5 and didnt hear the alarm on her phone or me trying to ring:mad: i have had nothing but grief about her not getting out and she has even hurt Abi tonight whilst in mid strop!

If in doubt phone your HV or change if you think he needs to, can i ask why you changed the milk? if it was for stomach problems there is an easy digest aptamil

Thomas is okish , seems to be a bit grumpy and warm but no temperature , I think he has belly ache as he screams for a cpl minutes then big farts then the bowel movement happens .
I didn't want to change he's milk again , I was a bit worries with runny yellow poo,
But with you saying that your little ones have runny poos , maybe its me worrying over nothing .
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

Elle i've had the same mobile number for nearly 10 years (seriously!) so i don't want to change it :( I don't think he'll be hassling me though he's too busy being a loser.
