That's an awful story Tara. Hope you get some answers to the things that happens. I know they can't fix it now, but it might make it less stressful for other parents in the future if they can put things right.Buttonmoons wrote: »Oh yeah, Beccles, sounds like a right kerfluffle getting your plumbing sorted! Must be a Darlington/Durham thing because my friend down there, his toilet is next door to the bath and sink. I mean, who designed those houses? Surely the toilet should at LEAST be in the same room as the sink!
There was a redundant bit on the soil pipe and we wondered if there had once been a tiny cloakroom sink in with the toilet when it was a seperate toilet, but not sure. I wouldn't have liked just a toilet and having to go next door to wash hands.
He's moved the waste for the sink but said he isn't going to move the water pipes, so they will be seen coming out of the floor and going behind the pedestal, rather than having it all behind the pedestal. I'm not sure that will look right, especially as the sink is opposite the door, so it's the first thing you look at when you enter.
It's one of the things we disagree on with DIY. I'll do stuff slowly and will redo things over and over until it's perfect. He rushes and if he makes a mistake, it just gets left as he can't be bothered to redo things and thinks it will do. I hate that and rather than appreciating the new room, my eye is drawn to the fault every time
I'm bored stupid with this essay. I've lost interest in this course and can't be bothered to write it. It's took a huge effort this morning to actually do some workHere I go again on my own....0 -

Tara, forgot to say above, your email is very good. Easy to read and concise and to the point. Far less blunt than I would have been but gets your point across nicely, and I also agree that the email should get a wider audience. Points West springs to mind.
I'm very glad to hear that Sacha and Poppie are doing so well. Been thinking of you all and sending you all the positive thoughts I could.

Well done Benjamin!
I'm pro reins, although apparently some people complain about them. I'm halfway hoping someone criticises me when seeing Molly in them - I'm all for free range babies but not when they can escape and hurt/lose themselves.
And thank you for reminding me that I have loads of Toblerone in the cupboard. I think I'm going to eat a little bit of Thorntons chocolate first though... nomnom.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I take Aimee to Friary Shoes in Lichfield, they stock loads of different shoes, not just clarks... They also fit them properly and every pair fitted gets checked by someone else too, definitely good service!!
I also have some reins and a walking monkey if you want to try them out Mfd? I'll see if I can find a link to the monkey...
Edit: Here he is... http://www.allbabyneeds.co.uk/Shop/animal-fun-backpack-harness-buddy-with-safety-reins-monkey-by-goldbug/prod_1694.html My Mum got it from America when Aimee was little and there was nothing similar over here...
And the reins are like this...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
