coz I'm just crazy like that it was a suggestion on one of the links csh posted, along with a silicone coated stainless steel bottle :huh:

Is Elliot still banging his head? Elijah is and if anything it has got worse, I really find it more and more frustrating if you stop him from doing it he fights and fights and eventually just sobs inconsolably. if you let him do it, he smacks his head harder and harder nowadays, and on our stone tile floors, really hurts himself then sobs and comes for comfort, which we are torn about withholding since clearly encouraging this is bad Very troublesome!

Elijah is also getting really picky about food, after many months of being a great eater who will eat anything. I am beginning to feel we will need some deception strategies to get veg and even most fruit down him soon - all he really likes are breads, toasts, biscuits etc. Gah!

He hasn't been banging his head too much the past week or two, however i've had a break through at my parents house, he'll have a nap there at long last in his travel cot. I think a lot is related to being tired and he gets frustrated.

If he is banging his head, i have been plonking him down on his bean bag or a cushion to soften the blow kind of thing.

No problems with food yet, but i'm expecting that at some stage!

i like the bottle drying rack!:p

and when i was in boots yesterday they has sillcone bottles. felt very weird. would be alright till they start teething then thw whole bottle would be chewed/gummed. unless that is the idea

I have only just realised our little ones have the same birthday! I still have baby brain i think.x

i get the chickens from the butchers they are really big so at £7 each i make them last 2 dinners and the carcas for soup

I bought the Fiesta I said was a dog but have found a nice man who will repair all the bodywork so I can forget the big dents and stratches. That way I can have a £1800 car for £1150. Just want to change the stereo in it, clean the interior (its a bit grimey), get car mats and already have two car seats organised for £50 which should have been rrp £320!!

It will need an mot & tax in a months time and £100 worth of suspension work to the back wheels but will still have saved a lot of money by getting it done myself rather than buying a car that its already sorted on.

Well done elle for taking Rhys into town - can be so daunting!
