    well done elle :)

Tia, can you ask MIL what she'd like in a kind of: 'I don't like to ask:o, but I know you've often not enjoyed our gifts:( and we'd like to get you something you WOULD like this year.....:)'

It kind of might surprise her into realising how critical she's been and if the idea was hers then she can't fault it.... ? Don't know, just thinking aloud really! :)

Weezl, with most folk that would work, with my MIL you will only get a 'oh I'm not bothered, anything at all! You know me, I'm happy with whatever!'

Elle, well done you, Breast feeding consultant and town centre! Woohoo!

Right, I fancy a chippy dinner but Amber is asleep and Christopher is naked from the waste down (nappy rash).

    Jillie-Are K and C not 24 weeks today, not 25?

Nothing new to report here. C in her own room nearly a month now and we have mainly good nights (waking every 2-3 hours for a feed but thats ok for now) with the occasional horrific one thrown in lol.

Looking at changing my car too very soon - hadn't thought about it being a good time - I've just come to realise a 206cc is not useful with a baby and Mum to take shopping and OH says it make his back hurt! Gonna change mine for one he wants and I'll have the Zafira.

Going to see my boss tomorrow about my return to work, got three weeks to go. I'm quite lucky though as I'll be working form home for 6 months and then taking it from there. Am determined to make it work so it can become a permanent arrangement.

NMS sounds like work is going well for you :-) OH is in for his op on Friday so I'm hoping we can take C swimming together after he is all better (to Medlock - will be free then!!

    Hugs to all xxx

    thanks Glam :)

we popped to number 24, his english isn't great but he sent the 'you have a parcel' card back to the depot with 'not at this number!' written on it, so now we're tring the sorting office that would have received the card....

Don't worry, we'll track it down!

DH is loving all the adventures and meeting the neighbours :)

In fact he just said, 'this is nearly as funny as when those enormous horse pills came in a jiffy bag' I said nothing at this point ;):rotfl:

    Awesome gift finding types!

It's the MIL birthday soon, but she is such a fussy !!!!!, I have no idea what to get her.
Chocolate - no, it's lent and she then gives it back to you for your birthday and moans about getting crappy chocolate.
Candles - give her a headache.
Bath stuff - she's allergic to everything except dove or johnsons (depending on what you have given her)
    Make up - doesn't wear
Perfume - doesn't wear because she gets a headache
Clothes - she is plus sized and fussy
Vouchers - she moans about getting boring vouchers, it doesn't show any love and care.
Ornaments - I refuse because she leaves them in the box.
Day trips, experience days etc - she will suddenly be ill.

On top of that, anything you do get her she has probably already bought herself (and hidden in a room in a bag in a box along with the other 2). This woman had 3 face saunas, that she bought for herself and never used any of them!

And taking her shopping is no use either after she started going on about this horrible bag someone had bought her that she hates and would never use etc etc... Yeah, we bought her it after she picked it out specifically and it cost bloody £50!

So what the hell can I get the fussy old bat? And of course, DH has no idea, birthdays are my job...

Tia what about a card with the following

    Dear MIL

As you are so bl00dy difficult to buy for, this year we have decided to get you an extra special present. It's so special because you can't actually
see it but it can be whatever you want it to be and can change on a daily basis depending on your ever changing moods. All you need to do is sit down, close your eyes and visualise it. As this present is so special it will last for many birthdays to come.
We hope you have much enjoyment from your present and we ask that any previous presents we have given you be returned to us for eBay as they are still boxed and could be classed as brand new. :)

    Have a lovely day

    Tia, DH & brood :D
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I was going to say a years supply of paracetamol (for all those headaches she gets and only a year's so you can get her them again next year ) but this idea is MUCH better!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
