beenie- they had the foam bath supports in home bargains for £2.99 iirc (pos £3.99) that was a week ago though.

Glam- What a twonker! It is horrible when people do things like that when you have the littlies with you, hope you feel better now.

Pink pig- I'm sure she will settle soon, if there were no tears sounds more like anger than sadness iyswim. The BF and co-sleeper should long term help with her confidence so don't feel like you are holding her back. She is at the prime age for getting sad about mummy leaving (9 month clingy phase but anytime around then it can strike) there are lot's of games you can play with her to help her understand about things going then coming back, which may help her to come to terms with you leaving. Simple things like hiding a toy behind your back, then bringing it back, peepo, boo, hide behind things and come back, stand in next room and talk to her so she can hear but not see you etc. All things you prob do already, but just so know these tiny things are all helping her to understand, things go and they come back again.

Asda usually have them for £25, but after the baby event we got one for £12.50 - not too sure if it's too long after the baby event now.

Thanks will have a look, I also need to get one of those seat things that you put on the toilet to stop Henry falling in !!!

Took Evie to baby massage today. She was sleepy so a bit grumpy but enjoyed some of it. And I really enjoyed it.

The session is 1hr 30mins but the actual massage only lasts about 30mins so its really relaxed so you can stop and feed and have a chat and the lady who's taking the class will show you when you're ready if baby is sleeping/eating/upset when she does the main demonstration.

There were 12 people booked on course but only 5 of us there today which was better. And all the people there seem really nice and my kind of people.

Hope everyone's well. Not been on for nearly a week so not even gonna try to catch up! :rotfl:

Beenie, SusanC, Becles - we still on for Giant's Den on Saturday? Still 10am?
(Sorry for seeming rude if this has been mentioned, i just don't have time to catch up)

    xx

just bought LO a bowl with the suction cup to put on her high chair, lets see how stressy she gets when she can't throw it off...will it be cruel for me to laugh

Yes still ok with me :)

Hope you are ok Glam - that sounds scary xx

Parents night went ok. Didn't see the head, just the class teacher. Still work to do with James as he's still struggling with written work. She said he's an intelligent boy and knows lots of stuff, but the SATS examiner won't know that so we've got to work on getting his written work neat enough to be marked. She thinks if he gets a grade 3, it'll knock his confidence too much, so we have to really push him so he gets a 4. Have said I'll still push him at home and see what we can do.

I did mention Facebook to her and she said things had settled down in class now. She didn't seem against as the head is and said she understands children like to talk to relatives who live away and stuff like that and it was fine as long as they don't argue on it.
Here I go again on my own....

Also, need to sort some vests as we have no 0-3s left that fit! (it's the cloth nappies, don't get too scared)
Alice was in 3-6 at one month, 6-9 at three months and 9-12 at five months. When she grew out of them we gave up and started using T-shirts instead.

Yes we are (although Beenie may not make it depending on her car).

Glad PE went well becles..ours did too. They are keeping J on the SN register for now but without a set plan in place (can't remember what she called it!). They will keep an eye on him going into juniors in Sept and will put a plan in place then if needed. He has done so well with his reading but it is his handwriting/spelling/letter formation that is still a big issue. That along with his newly diagnosed hypermobility she wants him to stay on it......

I am in chronic pain with toothache have been living onparacetamol for 2 days now and they are not doing anything! I have just bought some co-codamol so hopefully the pain will stop now:( I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT 'SHOULDN'T BE TAKING CO-CODAMOL' Oooops caps lock, sorry:o

Kai is getting right on my nerves today, he was blocked up last night and kept waking up so I am shattered plus in pain and I really can't deal with his constant whinging bouts, oh poop I just remembered we have no vicks left, I will need that for him tonight, that was what got him off to sleep eventually.

Sorry just rambling now as I am sat on my own with a whiney baby an excruciating pain in the mouth/ear/face, everyone else has boogered off upstairs and left me to deal with it....same old story really!
