I'm not young! I'm 27 but feel 100 by back is so bad these days!

I am a Slummy Mummy as most days I don't get dressed if I'm not going out!

Today was lovely though! All the babies had a play and were well behaved as usual! :)
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Caitlyn's just not settling with the CM :(

She cried (no tears though) the whole 2 hours I left her today. One of the other little girls fell outside and the CM didn't hear her because of the noise C was making :( This is the 5th time she's been, and now I'm worried I won't be able to go back to work. I keep thinking it's because I'm BFing and co-sleeping. Sorry all, just feel really down about it.

Sparkle! Sorry I forgot to bung you in my op! I knew I'd forgotten someone! Sorry, are you coming to a sling meet?

The answer is technically but it's an adventure! Basically facing inwards they follow the contours of your body and their back is nicely rounded, facing outwards not so much. It's also a bit interesting putting them in! If she's wanting to see more have you tried her on your back?

Sparkle we were talking about you today. :p Can you come on Friday?

Fritha I haven't tried her on my back, i'm scared of dropping her. You terrify me when you fling Celia over your head onto your back.

Lovely meet again, and great that the LO's got a chance to crawl about and play this time. V doesn't like sitting still anymore. I only got a couple of pics, I think Searchie might have got more.

And Sami I'm most disappointed that you didn't come. I got there late after a blonde moment with the sat nav, and was really pleased that i'd still got there before you.

I think it's because she is a baby, and babies do get upset at times, no matter what you do or don't do.

What does your CM say? Is she happy to keep going, are you? Do you think a nursery would be better?

CM says she's happy to keep going for now, but is just worried that when it comes to her going properly it'll be the easter hols and she won't be able to give Caitlyn her full attention all the time because of the other children, whose parents also pay her to look after them. I don't think a nursery would make any difference TBH. It's the fact that I'm not there, not who she's with. She's quite happy to sit and play whilst I'm there, but just starts crying the minute I leave. I just don't know how long to persevere for.

Oh Glam sorry tp hear your day was spoilt at the end by a man!! Hope the meet was good though

Just got my hair coloured and feel sooo much nicer... but now LO is crying.. maybe reaction to his jabs not sure.....

Might have to buy a travel cot of some sort on the quick for Friday as my sister might not be able to borrow one in the end... anyone know of any bargains anywhere?... cheapest I've seen is £30 in Tesco....BTW if something is marked on sale on the groceries website will it be the same price in store? and can you pass on the vouchers you get from the baby club or are they linked to your clubcard?

    Hello lovely ladies,

Isla and I had a lovely time at the meet today, it was so nice to put faces to names and meet some gorgeous babbas :) We do produce cute kiddies on this thread!

Glam I can't believe what happened on your way home, hope your ok hun. I'm just waiting to hear back whether my friends going to baby massage on Friday or not, as soon as I know I'll let you know avout sling meet :)

    3 sorry, I don't think I spoke to you today :o

I went to meet my brother in TC after leaving the others, got all the way to his shop and he text me to say he forgot to mention he's in manchester not TC branch  It didn't occur to him while I was on the phone!

Isla hasn't stopped yabbering since we got home, I think all the other babies made her quiet. She was too busy eyeing up the boys :rotfl:

Beenie - I got one like the Argos one you linked from Freecycle, but we like the soft-cushion style one better (it lays on the bottom of the tub, so you only need a couple inches of water - very MSE) as it's easier to get underneath the bum area and such. Plus it puts more of the body into the water, which was good for us as he was getting cold with only his bottom half submerged IYSWIM. I would totally fairy you the hard plastic one if it weren't an awkward size and cost more in shipping than at a boot sale!! Anyway, try Freecycle as that's where we got ours :).

glad the TC meet went well! We've been off swimming; sorry I wasn't around to keep company this afternoon :D. keep your fingers crossed for me, this cot I've been dying after for a week on eBay FINALLY ends tonight. Finn's head is quickly approaching the top of his Moses basket, so it is getting rather urgent! Also, need to sort some vests as we have no 0-3s left that fit! (it's the cloth nappies, don't get too scared)

Glam good luck on your MS. I've got my 1st one tomorrow and another the next! :D
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Asda usually have them for £25, but after the baby event we got one for £12.50 - not too sure if it's too long after the baby event now.

Boogelly - It was lovely to see you and the very pretty Isla. We can speak properly on Friday if you can make it.

Glam I forgot to say about your trip home. What a bl))dy kn)b! I hope his really, really small willy goes green and falls off! Were you in Cheshire, shall I sent FIL out to find and terrorise him?

V fell asleep before we drove past the TC on the way home. Then woke up when we got here. Then did nothing but cry for an hour. Just checked her nappy and found rabbit/bullet poops, maybe they hurt. :(
