The school have little to do with who gets in these days, is it a church school? will one of the boys still be at the school when you apply/she starts? if she has a sibling in the school she's a shoe in anyway :)

Yes it's a church school. James leaves in July and hopefully Charlotte will start nursery this September and full time school next September. The nursery is connected to the school. The other teachers are really nice, especially the infants ones.
Does the HM have children do you know? Did I tell you about FBgate at mum's school? there was a big hoo har and the HM talked to all the y6 kids telling them how FB was only supposed to be for 13yrs+ , you shouldn't 'friend' teachers blah blah. he told staff they shouldn't be friends with any parents (quite silly when some of the staff are also parents of pupils :p) Anyhoo he was generally appalled that children used FB and was very surprised to find out a few days later that his own 10yo son had a profile - he'd created it while using the internet unsupervised :p egg on his face much!

    That's a good story :rotfl:

Yes the head has children but they are all teens. I've done some digging on Facebook and found some teens on there that sound and look like them, but I'm not 100% sure.

Charlotte asked for cheese on toast for lunch and while I was preparing it, I noticed the oven glove had vanished. I went into the sitting room, and she had it laid out on the coffee table and it was covered in Night Garden stickers. She proudly said "I made that for you". Errrr thanks very much, I've always wanted a Night Garden stickered oven glove :rotfl:
Here I go again on my own....

    Baby baths question...

My arm aches holding her head, and she looooooooves kicking her legs and i like to let her stay in for a while cos she cries her little eyes out when it's time to come out lol!

Does anyone use any fancy things for baby to lie on?

She's too big for the baby bath now too, with her recent-found skill of kicking all the water out, so i think it's time she went in the big bath which is even more achey for my back and arms lol!

we have this http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0983017/c_1/1|category_root|Nursery|14417537/c_2/3|15701330|Feeding+and+bathing|14417596/c_3/4|cat_14417596|Bathing+and+potty+training|14417599.htm which is ok but you have to make the bath quite deep. I usaully sit her in that because then I have my hands free to get her washed and hold her up so she can play at the other end of the bath.

http://www.boots.com/en/Summer-Infant-Comfort-Bath-Support-Blue_124146/ I think that one would be a lot better, same idea but lower down and better for splashing.

Beenie, I impulse bought one of these for Caitlyn but it was brilliant... She was really happy to lie back on it and kick her legs... Once she was trying to lean forward and sit up in it I moved to one of the round ones that you sit them in... They're not supportive but good for stopping her throwing herself backwards... Although now she's really stable I can probably dispense with that one too...

Becles, stickers are the bane of my life... I'm forever finding them stuck everywhere!!

I get in with Molly. She and I both get clean and it's easier on the arms.

I lie J in the bottom of the bath with the water up to his ears and just let him lie there & splash about. :)

Lovely meet but spolit by the fact I ended up on the hard shoulder in tears on the phone to the police :o

I pulled into the fast lane doing about 80mph to overtake some car in the middle lane and this t**t in a big car comes flying up behind me doing about 100mph, flashing his lights and gesturing at me. So I passed the car and pulled over but gave him the finger as he drove past. The A-hole slams on the brakes and started driving into my lane trying to push me into the lorry next to me
I let him go but at some roadworks he slowed right down between 2 lorries and then when it went back to 70mph he roared up behind me flashing his lights. I pretended to come off at the next junction and he was flashing his lights and pointing for me to pull over so at the last minute I pulled into the middle lane and he carried on following me

I just rang the police and when he saw me on the phone he raced off so I pulled onto the hard shoulder.

What a K N O B. Police can't do anything but have put his reg plate out on alerts, I saw an ambulance fly past 5 minutes later and secretly hoped he had crashed and been set on fire :D (I know that sound bad but I don't care) I clearly had Baby on Board signs up but he tried on more than one occasion to ram me off the road.

Can't tell OH cos he will go mad and probably stop me driving anywhere again!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I've not seen the Tweenies but am fully prepared to hate all children's TV. We have some DVDs of kids' programmes from when we were kids, which we think are obviously superior :rotfl:
Almost everything Alice watches is from when we were little. The only contemporary children's TV programme she watches is Charlie and Lola.
My hands have cracked from all the washing... Good job I'm testing some moisturiser at the minute!!!
I think you must be testing the same thing as me. But they never told me it was Johnsons.

We were lent one of those sponge things you can lie them on and we used to use it like a pillow so Alice could splash around but her head was supported and higher up.
