Somnium - as Ladybird will tell you, I fell over in Winchester while having LO in a Mei Tai (on my front). Instinct kicked in, and I had a sore knee and elbow, but LO made no contact with the ground, and apart from looking at me like I was a bit of an idiot, didn't react at all.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

Som I picked my bumbo up for £2.50 at the car boot :money:
Does anyone have any tips for helping a very bunged up stuffy baby? I've got karvol on a muslin over the back of the sofa nearby and some in a bowl of water on the radiator and keep wiping her nose with a warm damp flannel. Poor things still struggling thoughBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

I always use the loo in front of OH, if he is in the bath etc, and he always comes in and has a pee when im in the bath too. Draw the line at pooh'ing though, though one time he did because I wasn't getting out the bath quick enough and it was a "turtle head" he says (omg sounds well sick!) so he did and I didn't care.
Keira just comes in and does number 1 or 2, and if you are on the loo, she demands you get off and if you say "in a minute" she starts going on like WAAAAH IM GOING TO PEE MYSELF HURRY UPPPPPP!
Don't leave it until your bursting then!!0 -
I have been known to wander naked upon occasion... But when in labour and I had the monitor thing up my foo and attached to Caitlyn's head, they bought me a comode in with a paper pee tray in it... I made Hubby leave the room while I used it... Also when they checked my stitches the next day... He thinks it's strange that I let him watch a small person fly out of my foo but won't pee in front of him... I just think you should always keep some things to yourself really and bodily functions are one of them...
Although I wander in and out when he's having a pee....
But then he goes about 3 times an hour...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks mel, I have been using them and they've been great the last few days but today nothing seems to be helping her. I might go and sit in the bathroom with the shower running for a bit to get all steamy with her.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Oh yeah, my ex used to wait until I was in the bath and then come in, pooh and stink the bathroom out... Every flippen time!!!
Just one of the many reasons he's my ex...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Have just reserved one for Benjamin - anything to get him off a little easier. He sleeps well (most of the time) once he is asleep but getting him off is a mare
I know a few on here think it is ace and that is recommendation enough for me

Have been to the Doctors again today for the fourth time in eight weeks. Alex has been bunged up for all this time. Have the Karvol, have tried the Calpol squirty saline, baby vapour rub and nothing seems to move it. Doctors said its "just a cold". Am beyond  with it.0 -
