While we are on that, am I wrong for turning down a maclaren major for him? OT offered us one but I said no. He can't walk down to the school but I would rather use the car and have him walk part of it than have a buggy. I just feel that before you know it we will use it just this once so we can go this place and then soon he will be using it all the time.

We had one Tia, when J was around 5 and L was 2 and wanting to walk. It was more for safety really, he could be safely strapped in while we went on little walks. But, he got to be a lazy boy and wanted to use it all of the time. Everytime school sent home photos of days out, it was always J in the buggy. I had to tell them he doesn't use it at all at home anymore and he's just being idle!
It was handy to take on holiday - then they took turns in it.

I'm very bored with ironing too. :(

Kindof, I quit a few years ago, but OH quit when I got pregnant. He found it hard, but he didn't go back to it because, like Caz mentioned, I told him that he'd have to wash and change before holding the baby. Children whose parents smoke are twice as likely to smoke themselves - I found remembering that helped.

This page on babies and smoking is helpful:
    http://www.kellymom.com/health/lifestyle/smoking.html
The mention of cot death reminds me and OH why we don't smoke.

Thanks I will read through all that :)

I was the mega black sheep of the family lol I was seriously the ONLY eprson who smoked lol out of all aunties and cousins and everthing lol

SS OH quit in the July once we got back off hols although he has been a little tinker the last few weekends having some at his friends house, I loved smoking, I really did, now I think it sthnks

Boogelly thanks :) hmms well waiting 20 mins is a long time to have to wait!

LOL Beenie good idea :) I know I wish we actually had that in the savings lol (its actually £1429.55 now!!!!)

kindof don't forget to stay hydrated after eating salty maccys :) dehydration often slows contractions for some reason (tia why?)

BM - your weight varies by up to 5lb due to water, you tend to hold water when menstruating, hence possibly looking 12wks pg when af is here :) nature is cruel!
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

Hmm, I've been seriously craving eggs for a few days. Protein intake FTW...

Is it possible to get pregnant before AF returns?

Chance of concieving is about 6% after 6 months, if your period hasn't returned. You should probably test!

    That is if you practice:
    keeping baby close
breastfeeding on cue (day and night)
using breastfeeding to comfort your baby
breastfeeding in a lying-down position for naps and at night
    using no bottles or pacifiers

    So it could be higher!

Talking of pregnancy, my friend (I've got one now!) is expecting, and it makes me a bit sad. Just got to keep reminding myself that I can't have a baby, not for a few years.

SS, you can ovulate without a period so perfectly plausible...

I'm waiting for the blokes to come and fit my free stair gates... Hope they come soon, I want to go to the newborn group this afternoon...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
