you know, if anyone was selling a 3 wheeler (or one of those 4 wheelers with the front wheels closer together) and it was parent facing.... I have £80 in my paypal account :D

Phoned environmental health about that dog, sorry, that !!!!ing dog next door, just waiting on a call back.

Amber is in bed howling (she's not *rubs eyes* tired at *rubs eyes again* all and mum is *rubs eyes, yawns* just nasty!) Ironing has been brought down in the hopes that I will get off me bum and do some. I have an hour before I go pick up DS2, so will finish my toast and coffee then get a start made.

My dad is not a naked person, but my mother, brother and I have no problems doing the nudey bathroom dash or for instance brushing teeth or using the toilet while someone's in the shower. OH finds it bewildering because I used to wait till he was outside having a cigarette before I'd use the bathroom, but happily went in to pee while my brother was showering. I can't explain the difference.

My mother just doesn't care. OH and I were at their house and it was early morning. We were doing the bad thing and she knocked on the door. I screamed out, Don't come in, everyone's naked! and she walked in anyway and sat down to have a chat with us, commenting that she didn't know if we were naked or not cause we were under the covers. Now I think of it, I think boundaries might be an issue.

KOAG, enjoy the haircut and happy due date! We should be due an influx of new mummies and babies with EA, KOAG and Somnium all impatiently overdue.

OH is a naked person, he would happily walk around the house naked (which is great when I am in a sad mood and he does the peeny dance for me), I wont lol

So I can imagine I may have a naked litltle boy who copies his dad lol

Thanks :) I need to ring my friend tellher when to come over, I have managed to stay awake longer than half an hour lol so need to cracck on with chores and get my friend to cut my hair

We have Gymfiend as well :) she is also due today, so one of the 4 of us HAVE to have baby soon (do you think that will make it come true if I say it lol)

Awww your dream sounded horrible :(

Jillie would you recommend the bumbo? I didnt like the look of them but then so many parents say they are a godsend

    PS

Did anyone else quit smoking for pregnancy? if so did you manage to stay quit once bean was born?

I quit the month before we fell pregnant in preperation for falling pregnant, and I did so well, havent had one since 9th June 2009, but recently ive been thinking about them loads, and I KNOW the only thing that has stopped me going to the shop to buy any is beany cos he is in my tummy

I always said I wouldnt smoke while pregnant (nothing wrong with people who choose to either, each to their own)

And I dont really want to start again once beany is here, but all my mates smoke and I am worried when I drink I might want one?

    Anyone have any tips?

he does the peeny dance for me

Jillie would you recommend the bumbo? I didnt like the look of them but then so many parents say they are a godsend

    Peeny dance? :rotfl: Tell!

Amber has a bumbo, I really really wanted one... she has used it about 5 times  She will sit with the tray on and play with toys but only if someone sits with her. Which the boys will do till they get bored. If not she arches her back till she slides out or gets stuck. But I kept the box so it will be going on ebay :D

no tips KOAG but when i had charlie OH went outside to smoke and when he came in MW made him sit on the otherside of the room and refused to let him anywhere near Charlie, he was told he would have to wait so long, change his clothes and get washed first! so if you have that in your head it may help you! also when are you going to have the time to smoke with a new born PMSL!

Aw I'd have taken the zapp!

Something light weight, but HAS to be easy to push, I need to be able to push it one handed and hold onto DS2 at the same time, which is why a 3 wheeler is better for me.

I quit with DS1, and will you hate me if I say that 9 years later I still get cravings? :o When pregnant I used to stand next to folk having a ciggy, and they would move away due to me being pregnant, and I'd follow, and they would move away again and I'd tell them to stand still and blow it this way!

I just didn't bother having one after I had him, if I did get a bad craving I would wake him up or go do something to take my mind off it. Helped that I had to smoke outside because we were staying with DH's parents.

You get to a point where you know the craving will pass if you just stay strong. If you give in the next one will be worse.

like Tia, its hardly been used. He does like it and it is lovely and light but...now he's eating his toes i need the tray on all the time so it doesnt topple over. he's always sat quite straight anyway so with helping him sit better i'd say it hasnt had any benefit. now we use his rocker all the time, he rocks himself, cant topple over - he's been bent over double to get his foot in his mouth and hasnt toppled where as in the bumbo i kept worrying that he would.

its good for a 'change of scenery' for him but we have got far more use from the rocker(which turns into a chair) than we ever have/would from the bumbo.
