EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW  _pale_
OH will close the bathroom door and open the window post-poop, and he attempts to time it so I've just been in there and won't need to go in again for a while :A
The damned bugs have been spotted back in the pantry  I have rescued my jammy wagon wheels from in there, they got eaten the last time and I have to import them from the UK. Perhaps I should eat them all to be on the safe side.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

AF - My brother had night terrors when he was a few years old. I can see what I remember....Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I'd eat them. Just incase, it's better to be safe than sorryBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Yes , he hates you touching his nose or trying to clean his gunky eyes. Seems like they were both bad at the weekend, Alex was also burning up Fri, Sat, Sun, but was obviously much better, when i made it to the Docs today - as they always are- rolls eyes. My Childminder was beside herself on Friday, because he wouldn't take any milk or eat any food and just kept screaming. She was practically in tears herself. So don't remember Joe being like this.0 -

But when in labour and I had the monitor thing up my foo and attached to Caitlyn's head, they bought me a comode in with a paper pee tray in it... I made Hubby leave the room while I used it... Also when they checked my stitches the next day... He thinks it's strange that I let him watch a small person fly out of my foo but won't pee in front of him... I just think you should always keep some things to yourself really and bodily functions are one of them...
Although I wander in and out when he's having a pee....
But then he goes about 3 times an hour...
Ive never been shy around my own home, and infront of my hubby. Im not keen on doing no 2's in front if him, but door is usually left open a bit (although elliot now walks in and watches me, so i sometimes lock the door for a bit of privacy!) I happily let him be there at the birth, seeing me getting my stitches, boobs out for b-feeding, and when midwife checked my stitches etc. I have given up caring what he thinks! hehe!
Not keen on my parents seeing me with bits out or on loo though, its just the way mom brought us up. Very private my mom is about things. Although she's not as bad these days, we've both chilled out a lot over things. My dad would just ignore anything now.
Baths-we have always sat with each other when in the bath, we'll have a good chat. As i say i'm not bothered now what he sees. My ex was the opposite-i find it really funny looking back.

DS1 has them and as most of us know, I have very vivid dreams (btw, I dreamt that Glam likes to eat asda smart price noodles raw).
What helped DS1 was waking him at 11pm, not enough to fully wake him, but just enough to disturb the sleeping pattern he was in. So he goes upto bed at 7, is asleep for 8 and we will rouse him at 11pm which stops his terrors at 1am. Now he is older he has grown out of them a lot, but does still get them. So when he gets one we will wake him the rest of that week just in case and that seems to work.
Also, because he was older, we got a dream catcher. Each night after his story we would talk about the dream catcher and how it how catches bad dreams, just so that he was aware of it, and that helped with the bad dreams too. He used to dream of a burned man in the garden yelling up at him that he was going to kill his mummy and daddy or that Christopher was going to die. Horrible stuff.
And when I say we, I do of course mean just me. :cool:0 -

Did anyone else quit smoking for pregnancy? if so did you manage to stay quit once bean was born?
I quit the month before we fell pregnant in preperation for falling pregnant, and I did so well, havent had one since 9th June 2009, but recently ive been thinking about them loads, and I KNOW the only thing that has stopped me going to the shop to buy any is beany cos he is in my tummy
I always said I wouldnt smoke while pregnant (nothing wrong with people who choose to either, each to their own)
And I dont really want to start again once beany is here, but all my mates smoke and I am worried when I drink I might want one?
Anyone have any tips?
There are so many risks to a baby if either parent smokes. You've done the hard bit so don't give in once bubs is here!feelinggood wrote: »Kindof, I quit a few years ago, but OH quit when I got pregnant. He found it hard, but he didn't go back to it because, like Caz mentioned, I told him that he'd have to wash and change before holding the baby. Children whose parents smoke are twice as likely to smoke themselves - I found remembering that helped.
This page on babies and smoking is helpful:
http://www.kellymom.com/health/lifestyle/smoking.html
The mention of cot death reminds me and OH why we don't smoke.
That link nearly made me cry. It is beyond me why anyone with a baby would smoke if the knew those statistics.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
kindof don't forget to stay hydrated after eating salty maccys
dehydration often slows contractions for some reason (tia why?)
BM - your weight varies by up to 5lb due to water, you tend to hold water when menstruating, hence possibly looking 12wks pg when af is herenature is cruel!
Ohhh thanks for thatI will get drinjking the juice
pinkpigs - LOL My OH would love that lol, but unfortuantly they didnt lol
Jillie dont leave feedback till they have it and have left you, I used to leave feedback as soon as someone paid, but then they left me bad feedback for no reason, so I wait for them (I have 100% and over 150 feedback no way I am risking that, I'd rather not get the feedback off them than them leave me bad for no reason again)
Susan whats this north east thing??? does that extend as far as me??? I am just being nosey lol
