oops! Sorry. I so love details like that that I forget not everyone does. Must learn to harness my inner geek.

Or at least shut her up with pumpkin pie :D
I don't mind the details - I just thought it might seem a bit OTT if I gave a mountain of information when you'd only asked one little question.

Ooh, that reminds me - I have to write my Taggie Doll one. Might do it tonight.

FWIW - I agree that people can get lazy about things if they have someone doing everything for them. But as an adult, there are still some things in life you have to take responsibility for without having to be asked, and doing basic things for your child is one of them in my opinion. I am glad that Mr Glam has shown more interest recently and hope things do improve.

Hello mummies and daddies. Hope everyone's good and babies are behaving. All this BB talk makes me really want something amazing to test. Fingers crossed for a Silver Cross high chair.

Just thought I'd let you know that Vertbaudet are offering £10 off orders plus a free Sophie la Giraffe changing bag with orders over £20. I can't find a pic of the changing bag online, but it is tres cute, and quite unisex. Piccy of leaflet->

If you are interested highlight > enter code 6775 at checkout<. It says for your first order, but it just let me use it on my existing account and I've had a confirmation email so I assume it's okay. Not valid on sale items, happy price items or star products. I know there are lots of Sophie fans on here so I thought I would share. I can't be arsed to post on Grabbit as there is no link and people can be meanies on there :o.

Krystal - Thanks for the link for TBP, My True Blood books have arrived today:) Along with a set of 10 Astrosaurs books for J and the Alex Rider set of 6 for L:D

Sold car today...finally, and have borrowed my mum's car to take J to his hospital appt in the morning (she is off to Manchester hosp with her boyf anyway, so they're going in his car) I phoned the garage about our car but unfortunately the new gearbox hasn't arrived today so not sure if we will get it back ny the weekend, which means we will need to hire one!! Dh has arranged his mate to come and help him with the fridge freezer in the morning:) I have been tidying and sorting in the kitchen ready to take down the cupboard we will need to dismantle to fit the thing in:o

There has been another abduction attempt in the town, not far from where I live, of a young girl walking home from junior school!! That is about 6-7 just in the last few months, scary stuff.

Just waiting for curry to be delivered and I am starving now, I was fine when I ordered it.

Need a new bin for the kitchen our lid seems to have cracked:(

Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Aimee has moments like that too... Maybe it's an age thing? She's certainly not [STRIKE]too[/STRIKE] spoilt but sometimes, every shop you go in, all you get is "can I have one of these?" at EVERYTHING!! Drives D up the wall... I just mostly ignore it... Or tell her the answer is no, before she even asks...

...and she asks friends who visit if they are going to buy her a present...

It's a good job she is cute as a button ;)

Hiya all - busy day at work, didn't even have a chance to log on

Mel - boo for garage. Yay for new fridge.

Just a thought as well - try asking the garage to contribute/pay for the hire car costs, it's not your fault that the gear box hasn't arrived.

I had a random thought whilst falling asleep for mums with new babies that aren't that happy, have you thought of this?

Feel free to ignore it as I said it was a random thought I had.
