My nephew has a rhadony carcinoma... That brings up nothing when you google it but is basically a bone cancer... Results from his chest mri tomorrow (checking if it has spread) and hickman line for chemo going in on Friday :(

Good luck for your nephew tomorrow :( I hope they get good results today. Chemo can work wonders ;)

Doctor decided Elijah's rosy cheek was a form of infected eczema  and we went home with a 7-day antibiotic course, hydrocortisone cream and an emollient cream! Unfortunately he hates the antibiotic with a passion, and it has to be administered 4 times a day :( already proving quite a big struggle. As a bonus, it is extremely sticky, noticeably more so than Calpol, say - so every battle where drops are spilt is a huge mess!

Running his bath tonight, he came barrelling into the living room looking anxious and poked me and said "Vatter! Oops! Vatter!" (Vatter = water - imagine it exactly like the bird in Watership Down says "Biiig vatter" - it is uncanny similar :))

He kept shuffling from foot and repeating himself til I got up and came to the bath, to discover he had flung an entire toilet roll into it... He pointed mournfully and said "Ooooops :( Vatter :(". Crazy little man.

D had infected eczema but it a lot better now so hopefully E will be feeling much better soon . I love his funny ways :D
Which reminds me... Fairy post offer... A backet of plastic disposable bibs... I bought them when I had Aimee and never used them, doubt I'll ever use them this time either...

I would love the disposable bibs if they are still available :A

Glad to hear Fergie has some new medication! Nice to see you posting again Weezl!

    hello :)

we had fergie's paediatrician appt today about the poo situation.

    the consultant was lovely :)

She said she thinks there's nothing sinister behind it, but that he will probably be on laxatives for some considerable time, and they've found a stronger one for him.

She feels he has been bleeding more than we've noticed because there are lots of tears and fissures around his anus. Poor fergie :(

Very glad we have new meds now tho.

Hugs for kristal about your nephew :(

Poor fergie :( It's horrible being constipated, and it's not like he can even shoogle on the toilet seat to try and get it out (not that I do )

My best friend Paul, had similar to what Fergie has Weezl, he was on liquid laxatives until he was about 8 I think it was, and then he just suddenly was able to get the toilet normally. I remember his mum told me about his poo problems as a baby, much to his embarrassment!!

Krystal where did you get the pwetty bag from? I'm jealous, i don't even know what kind of bag it is but I love bright colours :D

The fluoride thing - My dentist is good at fixing your teeth but he is pants, I swear since I started brushing my teeth the way he said, I have receded a gum! Anyhoo i asked him about fluoride in toothpaste and he said to keep using kids stuff at 500pp (or whatever it is!) and I told him that most kids toothpastes have more than that, and I told him the stuff he was selling was 1000! Keira keeps getting free toothbrushes and tubes of paste from nursery - it's 1000pp, so we just use that. Wish they would add it to our water though!!
I won it in a competition!! :D It's from this company...

And how comes Kiera gets free toothpaste? Skanky area? My Step sister is getting free driving lessons off her sure start... I mentioned it to the parent thingy at our surestart on Monday... She said "You got free baby gates, what more do you want?" Well driving lessons obviously... ;)

And thank you all for your good wishes and vibes, means a lot!!! :)

Tia, you needs class... I don't... I'm a dead classy bird innit ;)

MM, I'll need one for at least another 12months... And then there's No3 to consider...

Wonder if I'll get a fiver for my samsonite bag... Cost D £50 when C was born...

Krystal.. children are so much more resilient than adults when it comes to such harsh treatments.. he will be fine you'll see! 1 of DD1's friends is on her 3rd lot of chemo and is so full of life (though lacking energy!) and so happy.. she makes you feel bad for feeling bad for her!

Horrible tummy cramps and I'm so bloated I almost had a heart attack when I saw myself in the mirror :(

Just gave myself a second heart attack thinking it's been fifteen minutes since I put lunch in the oven and wondering if the kitchen was on fire. But since I forgot to do more than turn the oven on it's all fine except I'm starving and have to wait a bit longer.
