and im not allowed anywhere near philip when i have sharp objects in my hand as ive nearly stabbed him a few times .. his fault for getting the way:rotfl:x
Thats what i said when i burnt him, stabbed him, fallen into him, etc.. :rotfl:
Clumsyness runs in our family. My sister was once thinning my hair and she accidnetly put her finger in between the scissor blades and shut them really hard. I screamed and jumped out of the way as i didn't want blood on my new haircut..
I've been to A&E so much cause i constantly fall over or fall down stairs. I always injure my foot though, never any other part of my body:rotfl:

LOL EA - I am SOOO clumsy! Hubby calls me bambi
I fell down a flight of steel steps on my hen night - top to bottom  a whole floor of Jongleurs in Bristol!! I had some cracking bruises! It is a good job it was about 5 weeks before the wedding (my dress was knee length).MFD is it just work stressing you out or do you need to vent?
No venting, just quietly going slowly mad. 2 weeks tomorrow I don't have a job - ho hum!
Thanks for asking hun. xxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Hahaha! I worry Lily will be the same!
I accidently knocked my laptop into her the other day when i was trying to pick it up whilst holding her... She didn't cry though so i didn't feel to guilty lol.
My first ever load of clumsyness was when i was 9months old. I was walking and i fell into the TV unit and spilt the skin inbetween my lip and chin. I now have a 'Y' shaped scar there.
Most recent i think is when i fell over and then gave birth 2 days later! lol0 -
Does anyone remember from a while (year?) back... I think there was a book rmac had which talked about babies having a 45min sleep cycle and you needed to wake them a little bit to "reset" the cycle so they will nap for longer? Anyone know what the book was? :cool:0

It's a baby whisperer theory.
Benjamin still tends to sleep in units of 45 mins (45, 1 1/2 hours, 2 hours 15)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Sami - I considered that but dh just reminded me about the 'space' I also don't feel well so can't really be arsed going for it...I'll just leave it. The more I think about it the more I think I won't actually need it anyway!!
Hope Charlie is getting on ok xx
Said I would visit my sis today in her new house, so after K finishes, not eating lunch, we will pop round there brieflyUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
Oh - Glam - I have a friend who has been told by the doc that when her baby wakes and causes a fuss at night it may be because the baby is not properly awake and so doesn't know how to react properly and settle itself.
She has been advised to actually wake the baby a little more (nappy change or something, not playing) and then re-settle once baby is awake.
Not sure how it is working but wondered if it might apply to Jack too? And others maybe?
Could be worth a try?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

The Baby Whisperer - if you wanna be all cheapo and not buy the book, just read some of the FAQs on the website's forums and they pretty much tell you everything the book does (for free!). Finn sleeps in 45 min chunks too, but I've never had any luck with the wake-to-sleep she postulates.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Morning all..
Update from Caz: Charlie is still too hot. They took blood last night and put a canula in. All he's doing is sleeping. They're waiting for the doc on his rounds now. The temp is their worry as they can't seem to control it.
Aww bless! Hope they can get it under control soon. Tell her we are thinking of them xx
I'm really clumsy as well. Have so many stupid accidentsHere I go again on my own....0
