som we have the rear windows tinted, costs a bit but it does block the glare out and keeps the kids happy! i also used to drape a blanket over the car seat (with the handle up) to help with the sun!

How much did ot cost you to get the windows tinted...I wouldn't mind doing this actually? Which windoes have you done, and did you do it yourself or take it somewhere?

Beenie - we worry when you don't post! In fact we worry when anyone regular doesn't post. :) Obviously if you aren't regular then we know not to expect you!

Cant remember who - but someone is goin to the haven at Grange for their hols - if you are planning on visiting our zoo take an asda receipt along for each person and the admittance is £6 ( we give all our waste produce to them for the animals so get reduced entry) well worth a visit

Hi...Might have been me, not sure if anyone else if going....we went and left early as we hated it:o I think next time we will go further into the lakes and not on a Haven site! Because that holiday was a let down we are going to York in 12days:j thanks for the heads up on the zoo anyway:D

I'm sure you'll do well SM,

SS I just went back to look at the video, v cute, love the way she says mama repeatedly, also love how she sits still n eats if i did that with jasmine she'd crawl off and smear her sandwich into the tv!! Sandwiches are a favourite here with both kids,

Oh no Mel, what was wrong with it?

Thanks JM :D Molly's not crawling yet so lunchtime is still sitting-still time. She does tend to wipe food on her chest, hence the shirtless lunchtime.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, we had a lovely day out! :D I'm 29, so not quite a milestone! :rotfl:

Caz, sorry you're all ill! Toast and jam is a miracle cure.

I don't see anything wring with jam for kids, for all they actually get of it on a bit of bread. Amber has had it on toast, bread, scones... no sign of a sugar rush. I'm quite sensitive to sugar and unless I have loads of it, it doesn't affect me.

Sami, branston is the biz! You just have no taste *tsk*

SS, molly is a very neat eater! Amber just crams it all in and spits out the extras! She likes to shred it all up too!

Christophers eyes have been every colour (except violet). Started brown, then went blue, then hazel and then blue and brown and now mostly brown.

Maz, it's a Joolz I have. (the twister is being listed on eBay, I finally made a decision)

    WOOHOO for tooth jillie!!!

We were lucky in that when we bought our car it was previously owned by an undertaker and all but the front windows are blacked out!:rotfl:

    Hi Beenie.....and everyone else...

ooo who mentioned Home Bargains... we got a pack of 2 potato grow bags from there when we stayed with my sister a couple of weeks ago and want some more... she is going to try and get us some more but if she cant get them, I may need a volunteer to visit HB and find some for me (obviously fairies will visit to repay).... we dont have HB or B&Ms down near me:( ..only 99p store, Poundland and QD's
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.

You should have seen the aftermath Tia :rotfl: I estimate about a third of the sandwich went down her gullet and the rest was mashed into the mat/her trousers/her hair/her chest.

Mel it was a friend of OHs that done it as thats his business, i think its usually around £80 for a normal sized car but would be more for people carriers, we have all the rear glass done but not the front as Fife police would have a field day lol! what car did you get in the end? im looking for a new one soon but OH not so keen lol!
What's for you won't go past you
