    Evening all..

We didn't go out - friends came here. Rhys wasn't liking the idea of a nap and got himself all worked up and didn't eat much lunch, yadda yadda. Definitely reckon it was to do with getting up so early

Anyway, he's also now got war wounds - two lines above his eyebrow :( He dived for the tupperware box of cake my friend was sliding along the floor to me well out of his reach  Didn't cry for long and it totally fine now though. Mind you, that might be due to the cake he ate too ;)

I'm off food shopping shortly. Had better write a list... supposed to be properly budgeting this month

Keely - hope you are ok and we're here if you want to rant about anything. I'm probably not "fitting in" at the moment, as I'm really busy with uni and just keep popping in when I can so I can't keep up with everything, but there's plenty people here with good shoulders to cry on if you need us.

Bit upset about uni today. For our next assignment, we had to do a STEEPLE analysis of an organisation of our choice and post it to the tutor group (quick lesson: each letter stands for something, S is Socialogical, so you write down all the socialogical issues, then do T for Technological and so on.)

Anyway I hadn't read the thread, went off and did my analysis on Tesco and then when I went to post it, I noticed another lass had already done them. This is ok, as sometimes people do choose the same company. My analysis was very different to hers as hers is from a shoppers perspective, but I do a lot of work in Tesco so I'd put a lot more in mine that I know from working "behind the scenes" so to speak.

The lass has put some horrid comments on the tutor group forum. She said I've deliberately copied her work and she called me a liar when I said I hadn't read hers before I did mine. She's gone off on a right rant saying she is the only one who can do Tesco and I need to do something else.

Have spoken to the tutor and he said it's fine that I do Tesco as well and he pointed out to her that I didn't copy as the two analysis are very different. I'm just so angry at being spoken to like that by her though :(
Here I go again on my own....

Took the words out of my mouth! In my experience when people get annoyed at your work (academically), it's because they're jealous and they wish their's could be as good :D. If she's made offensive comments in public, that's pretty stupid of her as won't the tutor read those and get an even worse impression of her? Also, I wonder if you could have them removed...(not sure the nature of the forum).

Becles, tell her you'd only copy the work of someone doing better in the course than you.

Becles- like the others say she is obv just annoyed that yours is better than hers (and by the sound of it much better researched ;)) Just ignore her, easy as it is to say and hard as it is to do!

Let the tutor decide who's is best and then you can wear a happy smug face, while she has let shown her angry, ugly side to all and sundry :)
