  • Evening all,

Just checking in but not stopping.

    Hope everyone is well.

Benjamin has his 1 year jabs in the morning (only a month late!) so I am off work to smother him in mummy cuddles all day.

I may be spending some more time with him very soon. Have had it clarified that our contract is awarded (or not) 'on behalf of the secretary of state' so whilst there isn't a secretary of state (ie as of tomorrow) then there will be no contract :(

So unless someone is minded to take me on on a temporary basis (there has been talk of this being possible but nothing has come of it thus far) I could well be out of work as of the end of the month :(

    MFD - (((hugs)))

My mum changes Katies clothes if she considers them not a good fit or not appropriate for the weather, usually when DH has chosen the clothes, but mostly she sticks with what is chosen.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

When is the true colour determined? Cause i have sometimes blue sometimes green eyes and OH has green eyes.

At the moment Lily's are sometimes dark blue, sometimes greyish, sometimes greenish. But all have a tinge of blue in, if that makes sense?:)

I wondered that cos Elliots are blue blue blue, but I know most babies (if not all) are born with blue eyes

    Great to see you Beenie

Thanks for that SS, I want something like that when we take Elliot to the lakes (there is a swimming pool at hotel)

I just had lovely baby sick splashed on my face and all over my top and all over Elliot, nice lol

On the subject of MIL's changing clothes and things, my MIL (not that she gets K much lol), has some bibs and jumpers and things and a chair and some toys that she keeps at her house for him. Not because she doesn't like what I put him in or anything but because shes waited years for a grandchild of her own to dress up and play with!
She likes to pick things up for him when shes out shopping and loves to tell people that 'its for my grandson'! She gets pleasure out of having things there for him and nothing at all to do with undermining me or taking over or whatever.
