Good luck for today Jillie, as weezl would say 'use your inner mummy tiger!' :) (I think it was weezl, either that or I'm slowly losing the plot!)

Nice to hear from you Gisi. Holly seemed to be teething for about 3 months, but the week before her teeth came in, nothing at all, and we couldn't see anything under the gum. It took us by surprise. She seems to be teething again now though, dribbly, red cheeks etc.

3 - Hope V feels better later. Not nice when they are sick, especially when you are tired.

It seems sunny again here today. Plan is to go to shops to buy a couple of sunhats for Holly and do weekly food shopping. Hopefully if it stays nice, we can play out the back later and maybe eat dinner outside.

We put a rug on the grass yesterday and took the toy box out and it was such a lovely change being outside. Holly is getting really good at sitting up and seems to have stopped toppling forwards so we got some nice pictures in the sun. We went out for dinner and she did her usual explosive poo which she saves up for when we are in a restaurant. Cue a full change of clothes etc! It took them ages to serve us, and we ended up about an hour later than expected and H was screaming as she was hungry. I hadn't realised the time and didn't take a bottle with me as I expected it to be a quick visit! I can't remember the last time she cried for food!

Hope you are al enjoying the sun today again. Is it nice everywhere?

  • Tara- I've just seen your post about DS1. Big hugs for you, that must be so hard. I hope DS1 changes his mind.

Jillie- good luck with the nursery and with work.

Thanks Fitz! No sign of any teeth in H's mouth, so we will see. It's horrid when restaurants take ages to serve you when you've got a little one, isn't it? You just have to sit there knowing their patience will run out before the food arrives.

I said the same on Friday! Isla was tired and hungry on the way home from the funeral and I couldn't feed her in the car, it's the first time she's cried with hunger for ages. I'm that used to offering boob at the first sign of hunger now :rotfl:

Gisi will you be baking up a storm in your new kitchen?

3 - hope V get's better soon. Poor little mite's really been through it with this bug hasn't she.

Glam - I will be at sling meet on the 21st and I've found a body scrub for you too :) Hopefully my new sling will come before then too so Fritha can have a play.

I may have just bid on a pram on ebay :o It ends soon and seems really cheap but I sooo don't need it! I should make a profit if I sell it on though.

Tara, what a nightmare. Can you find out what your ex has said to him to make him so set on leaving?

*hugs* Jillie and PP, I hope your nursery/CM visits go well.

Poor V :( Are you ok 3? Not getting the bug?

 at what happened in Belfast, apparently it was close to Carla :(

    Hello pinknico :)

Elle, I think you should teach Rhys that pointing is done with the middle finger upwards and then make sure he shows the physio. The woman is clearly monstrous.

Congratulations to Mr Aless, I hope Aless is enjoying the bed to herself :)

Gorgeous photos ladies, thanks for posting!

Glam, sea salt and olive oil have the same effect as body scrub and you can do it in the kitchen while cooking.

KOAG, cancel your visitors and spend the day in bed with E. Try the bottles, but try to keep calm if you can - it'll pass whatever you do and your stress isn't going to help you or E.

Hugs for everyone having disturbed sleep - we had a bad night as well, lots of sleeping-wailing but nary a tooth to show for it, although there are four bulging her gums at the top :(

Tia, I'm going to try Molly with a sandwich later on today. Do you cut the crusts off, and do you use white or brown bread?

It's not even 11am and I've already been to work and back. I had to pick up my white coats and they only open the collection centre 7-10am twice a week. Absurd. And my coats say Frau SS rather than Dr SS or SS, Ph.D., and they claim I have to show them my certificates and go without white coats for another month if I want them changed. Cluck that, I requisitioned them because I NEED them.

SS, I cut it into triangles, then into half again. If its soft crusts leave them on, but usually they gag on the crusts so thats up to you whether you cut them off or not. I use whatever bread.

    off to science centre! bye!

Hope it goes well Jillie x

I set up the cherry yesterday, Ed really seemed to like it [LINK REMOVED]

not sure if I should sell the phil n teds any time soon or not at all etc.
Ed should be around 3yo when/if we have #3 so probably would be ok with a buggy board (if you can have one??) on the cherry, I'd also considered keeping the P&T for it's off roadiness and maybe for my sister but who knows when she'll have her first never mind the 2nd!
