Not personal experience of it, but my sil had it without success in turning the baby. She had an elective caesarean in the end to get him out.

Assuming you are asking because your baby is breech, all I'd say is don't fear a c section too much. When I was pg with dd1, the midwives made sections sound like the end of the world and really they aren't that bad imho. DD1 was emergency and DD2 was elective. The emergency was pretty fraught as I was exhausted after 3 days of contractions, baby distressed etc etc, but the elective was relaxed and calm, baby there within the hour. Perhaps I was lucky, but recovery was pretty quick as they give you plenty of painkillers, first 48 hours the most painful, but the joy of the new baby certainly is the best painkiller there is

Well, had my second 20wk scan (at 23 weeks ) to make sure all the bits of baby were present and correct and it seems everything's fine - yay!

It's kicking like a mad thing and my lovely OH can feel it too - makes him go all silly! I feel like I'm finally actually enjoying being pregnant, which is nice, because until now even though I've had an easy pregnancy I wouldn't have called it 'fun'!

I'm also delighted to see I'm still miiiiiiiiiiiiles from the top of the list - does anyone else feel a bit glad they've still got a lifetime to go before EDD arrives?!

Yes my baby is breech. I have a scan to on the 10th of April to confirm it's position and to do a ECV but I've posted on other chat rooms and people that have had them advised against them.

I'm praying this baby turns itself by the 10th.

Hi everyone, have just found this thread and totally exasperated OH as I've been reading it for ages and he's waiting to get on the computer! Am now 14 weeks with our 3rd and feel like I can finally breath a sigh of relief as has 2 mcs last year. So pleased to be able to post, hope I've done it right (total newbie at posting although have been reading stuff on this brilliant site for a while)

All the best india, there's still time it will right itself, but like I say, please don't get too stressed at the thought of a section if that's what it comes down to, it really wasn't anywhere near as bad as I'd thought it would be.
